AWP | Worm God (Minimal Wear)
The AWP | Worm God (Minimal Wear) is a Restricted sniper skin showing a skull-and-roots design in blue and gold across a light body, with a strange, deity-like sci-fi mood. At Minimal Wear the artwork stays crisp while the price eases below the top grade.
Design
The finish centers on a coiling skull-and-roots image rendered in blue and gold over a pale surface, an eerie, half-mythic look built to resemble high-durability enamel paint. The community artist enzYm created it, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "There are some roots you don't want to take hold."
AWP | Worm God (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Minimal Wear sits one step under the cleanest grade, and on a pale base like this the difference is subtle — a hint of edge wear at most, with the blue-and-gold root work still reading clearly. Because the finish caps at 0.45 and never reaches Battle-Scarred, even this second grade keeps the motif in fine shape for noticeably less than Factory New.
AWP | Worm God Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple grade. It ranks above Mil-Spec and below Classified among the standard weapon tiers — a mid-high grade that's a step scarcer than the everyday blue skins but well short of the pink and red rarities.
AWP | Worm God Case and Collection
Part of The Chroma 2 Collection, this skin comes out of the Chroma 2 Case that launched with the April 2015 update. Across the case the Restricted tier pulls at roughly 15.98% (an odds figure shared among the tier's skins), and since the Chroma 2 Case has left the active drop pool, its supply is capped — buyers pick up most copies on the market instead of unboxing them.
AWP | Worm God Patterns
The design has no random pattern roll: the skull-and-roots artwork is placed identically on each copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" worth chasing. The only real difference between two copies comes down to their wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak™ AWP | Worm God, which brings a confirmed-kill counter along; it drops more rarely and costs more than the standard skin, and its counter is permanent, staying with the item through every trade and sale. No Souvenir version was ever made — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Chroma 2 Case was a regular case rather than a Major package.
AWP | Worm God Price
Minimal Wear slots just under Factory New on the price ladder while keeping nearly the same look — a smart pick given the finish is budget-priced across the board. It's one of the most affordable ways to run a distinctive AWP skin. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Minimal Wear Worm God look worn?
Barely. The pale base can show scuffing more readily than a dark skin would, but at Minimal Wear there's only faint edge wear, and the blue-and-gold root detail stays sharp. To most eyes it reads nearly indistinguishable from Factory New while sitting a touch lower in price.
Is Minimal Wear the best value grade?
For many buyers, yes. It looks almost identical to Factory New but costs a bit less, and because the whole finish is budget-friendly, either grade is easy on the wallet. Field-Tested and Well-Worn drop the entry price further if you don't mind the base showing more marks.
Which gloves go with the Worm God?
Its blue-and-gold palette on a pale base suits a cool, slightly regal loadout. Blue gloves echo the tendrils, gold or tan wraps pick up the metallic accents, and a clean white-and-blue pair keeps the eerie, otherworldly tone intact without fighting the skull motif for attention.
