Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Field-Tested)
The Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with an ash-colored grip and a bold blue slide, here with a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common and most affordable way to own it — the blue still stands out for well under the higher grades.
Design
The look is all color: a laminated Deagle filled with an ash-colored grip set against a bold blue slide, plain in shape but eye-catching all the same. It's the work of community artist PTP, who has a real feel for making something simple look stylish. A wry in-game line rounds it out: "WARNING: This is a replica and has not been tested with live ammunition."
Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
With the full 0.00–1.00 float range in play, Field-Tested lands in the middle of the scale. The slide picks up light scratching and the blue softens a little, but the finish still reads clearly and keeps its color. This is the grade most players settle on — the balance point between looks and price.
Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier. It's the base grade of the standard weapon skins and the most common rarity you can pull, which helps keep the finish firmly in budget territory.
Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Case and Collection
Part of The Prisma 2 Collection, Blue Ply is unboxed from the Prisma 2 Case that arrived in March 2020. As a group the Mil-Spec tier drops around 79.92% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), so there are plenty of copies about and the market price stays low.
Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Patterns
Because the ash grip and blue slide sit the same way on every Blue Ply, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to chase. Copies differ only by wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also find a StatTrak™ Blue Ply, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, pricier drop from the Prisma 2 Case than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and the Prisma 2 Case has never featured as one.
Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping most of the color, on a skin that's already a budget Deagle. If you want the blue-slide look for as little as makes sense, this is the practical pick. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Blue Ply look beat up?
Not really. There's some visible scratching on the slide and the blue reads a shade softer than the top grades, but the finish stays recognizable and the ash grip hides marks well. For an in-game skin seen at a distance, it looks perfectly presentable and costs noticeably less.
Is Field-Tested the best value Blue Ply?
For most buyers, yes. It's the most common grade and the cheapest that still looks the part, sitting below Minimal Wear in price while keeping the blue-slide identity. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go lower still, but the drop in appearance starts to show past this point.
Which gloves go with Blue Ply?
Its ash-and-blue palette suits a cool-toned loadout, so blue or gray gloves work best — a blue pair plays off the slide, while a neutral gray leans into the muted grip. It slots neatly into any blue-heavy set without clashing.
