Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 (Field-Tested)

Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 (Field-Tested)

The Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 (Field-Tested) is a Restricted pistol skin with a stormy-sea hydrographic over a red metallic base. Field-Tested is the most common way to own the crimson storm Deagle — a bit of honest wear on a design that still reads bold, for less than the top grades.

Design

The look comes from a stormy-sea hydrographic applied over a red metallic base coat, an unusual pairing that swaps the expected cold-blue storm for a warm, sunset-red glow. Backing it is a fitting in-game line: "You think it's the same, but look again... subtlety makes all the difference."

Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

At Field-Tested the finish shows moderate wear — light scratching along the slide and around the raised edges — but the deep red base absorbs it well and the stormy-sea pattern stays clearly legible. This is the grade most owners settle on: enough condition to look the part, at a friendlier spot on the price scale. Its float sits in the mid part of the 0.00–0.75 range.

Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier. It's positioned one rung above Mil-Spec and directly below Classified in the standard grades, marking it out as an uncommon pull worth a bit more than the routine blue skins.

Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 Case and Collection

This Deagle is one of The Rising Sun Collection's finishes, released with the Operation Bloodhound update in May 2015. The Restricted tier drops at about 15.98% overall (that rate is shared across the tier), and because the collection sits outside the active drop rotation now, the supply is set — the market, not unboxing, is where nearly every copy comes from.

Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 Patterns

No random roll factors into this finish — the stormy-sea hydrographic is placed identically on each Deagle, so there's nothing like a phase, paint seed, or blue gem to seek out. Copies differ from one another only by their wear and float values.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak edition was never made for this skin, since StatTrak drops come from cases and this finish carries no kill-counter variant. Likewise there's no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons are minted only through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Rising Sun Collection has never featured as a Major drop.

Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 Price

Field-Tested lands in the mid-to-lower part of this finish's ladder, below the Minimal Wear and Factory New grades but well above the most worn ones. For a high-end, grail-tier Deagle, it's the most accessible route to the design without giving up its bold look. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested version look worn?

Only moderately. There's visible scratching on the slide and raised edges, but the dark red base masks a lot of it and the storm pattern stays fully readable. From playing distance it still comes across as a striking Deagle, which is why Field-Tested is such a popular grade for this finish.

Is Field-Tested the best value grade?

It's the value pick for buyers who want the design without stretching to the higher grades. It costs less than Minimal Wear while keeping the look intact, and it's the most common condition on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go cheaper still if heavier wear doesn't bother you.

Which loadout suits it?

The crimson base pairs best with a warm, red-toned loadout, so red or dark-red gloves finish it off nicely. Bronze and brown wraps echo the sunset shade, while a black pair keeps things low-key and lets the red base stand out on its own.
