Desert Eagle | Cobalt Disruption (Field-Tested)

Desert Eagle | Cobalt Disruption (Field-Tested)

The Desert Eagle | Cobalt Disruption (Field-Tested) is a Classified pistol skin with a blue anodized body and a digital pixel-camo pattern over a metallic foil base. Field-Tested is the most affordable way in, and because the finish caps early, even this grade stays fairly restrained on wear.

Design

Cobalt Disruption keeps a cool, all-blue identity: an anodized coat running from cobalt to lighter blues, patterned as a digital disruptive pixel-camo over metallic foil. Black hardware — trigger, sights, fasteners — anchors the design against the blues, giving it a tech-forward, almost circuit-board character. The finish is a Valve creation.

Desert Eagle | Cobalt Disruption (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

This finish is float-capped at 0.20, so Field-Tested is the most worn grade it ever reaches — and that cap matters. Where a full-range skin would push Field-Tested toward heavy scuffing, here the wear stops early: the anodized surface shows light scratching along the edges, but the blue pixel pattern and foil base stay clearly legible. It never gets close to a Battle-Scarred look, because those grades don't exist for this skin.

Desert Eagle Cobalt Disruption Rarity

Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, ranked directly below Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon grades. Pulling one from a case is genuinely uncommon.

Desert Eagle Cobalt Disruption Case and Collection

The skin sits in The eSports 2013 Winter Collection and comes out of the eSports 2013 Winter Case, released alongside the Winter Offensive update on December 18, 2013. As a group the Classified tier drops around 3.2% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier), and because this early case is out of the active drop pool, supply stays fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies come from.

Desert Eagle Cobalt Disruption Patterns

Each copy's pixel-camo overlay is placed a touch differently thanks to the pattern index, yet none of that adds up to a rare or special variant — the blue palette is consistent across every roll. For this finish, wear grade tells copies apart far more than pattern does.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak™ edition, which originally dropped from the eSports 2013 Winter Case and tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; that counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant, since Souvenir weapons are only made from Major-tournament packages and this case was never part of a Major.

Desert Eagle Cobalt Disruption Price

Field-Tested is the cheapest grade available, sitting below Minimal Wear — the entry point into this premium Desert Eagle finish for players who want the blue look without paying up for top condition. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does the Field-Tested actually look?

Milder than you might expect. Because the finish caps at 0.20, Field-Tested is as worn as this skin gets — light scratching on the edges and a slightly duller foil, but the blue pixel pattern stays sharp and readable. It never reaches the heavy battering of a true low-grade skin.

Why is there no Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred Cobalt Disruption?

The finish is float-capped at 0.20, and Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred both require higher float values than that. The game can't roll a copy past the cap, so Field-Tested is the floor — one reason even the cheapest grade here still looks presentable.

Is Field-Tested worth buying over Minimal Wear?

If price is the priority, yes. Field-Tested is the cheapest route to the finish, and thanks to the early float cap it doesn't look far off Minimal Wear in normal play. Step up to Minimal Wear only if you want the crisper edges and slightly brighter foil sheen.
