Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox (Battle-Scarred)
The Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox (Battle-Scarred) is a Classified pistol skin with a warm red-and-orange body and a fennec fox on the barrel, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into a coveted Deagle design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
Fennec Fox keeps its warmth front and center: red and orange hues that channel the desert fox, with the animal custom-painted across the barrel. Designed by community studio 2minds studio, it ships with a fitting in-game line: "All the better to hear you with."
Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the slide and body, and against the bright palette none of it hides. The fox on the barrel survives as the detail that keeps the skin readable. This finish is capped at a float of 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, so even at its roughest a copy never reaches the extreme end of the wear scale, and the design stays legible.
Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, ranked second from the top of the standard weapon grades and sitting just under Covert. It's an uncommon grade to pull from any drop.
Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox Case and Collection
Fennec Fox sits within The 2021 Mirage Collection, which launched with Operation Riptide in September 2021. Its copies reach players through Major Souvenir packages, and the Classified tier as a whole unboxes about 3.2% of the time (that rate is shared across the tier), meaning supply is fixed and most copies are picked up on the market.
Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox Patterns
The finish has no random pattern roll — the fox and the color around it appear identically on each copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. Only wear and float set one copy apart from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak Fennec Fox doesn't exist, and the reason is mechanical: StatTrak weapons come only from weapon cases, while this finish is a Major Souvenir-package drop rather than a case skin. The Souvenir edition is the special one here — it first appeared in the Stockholm 2021 Mirage Souvenir Package, wearing the gold trim awarded at a Major.
Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run a design that reaches high-end, grail-tier money in Factory New. If you want the fennec fox on your Deagle for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred copy still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the fox on the barrel and the red-and-orange color keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the artwork.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred copy look completely destroyed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 instead of the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear. The bright base does show damage plainly, but the cap keeps the fox artwork legible even at the roughest end of the range.
Which gloves go with Fennec Fox?
The warm red-and-orange palette suits a fiery loadout, so orange, red, or tan gloves pair best — a warm set echoes the fox coloring and ties the build together. Sandy, desert-themed wraps also lean into the fennec theme.
