Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox (Well-Worn)
The Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox (Well-Worn) is a Classified pistol skin with a warm red-and-orange body and a fennec fox on the barrel, here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper route into a sought-after Deagle finish, with wear that shows plainly against the bright palette.
Design
Fennec Fox is built on warm color — red and orange tones that recall the desert fox, with the creature custom-painted onto the barrel. The finish is the work of community studio 2minds studio, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "All the better to hear you with."
Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the slide and edges, and because the base is bright rather than dark, that wear reads openly. The fox on the barrel still anchors the look, but there's no pretending this is a fresh copy. Note that the finish caps at a float of 0.80 — a detail that matters most one grade down at Battle-Scarred, keeping even the roughest copies from the extreme end of the scale.
Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox Rarity
Rarity: Classified, the pink tier. It sits directly below Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon grades, and it's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox.
Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox Case and Collection
Part of The 2021 Mirage Collection, Fennec Fox arrived with Operation Riptide back in September 2021. The collection is handed out through Major Souvenir packages, and as a group the Classified tier drops around 3.2% of the time (the odds are shared across the tier's skins), so supply stays limited and the market is where most copies are found.
Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox Patterns
Because the barrel fox and its surrounding color are placed the same way on every copy, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak Fennec Fox: the counter only comes on skins that drop from weapon cases, and this one is a Major Souvenir-package finish, not a case skin. A Souvenir edition does exist, though — it launched in the Stockholm 2021 Mirage Souvenir Package, complete with the gold Souvenir styling tied to a Major.
Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget path to a finish that runs high-end, grail-tier money in its top grades. It's one of the cheaper ways to get a real Fennec Fox into your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn copy look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and paint thinning on the slide and around the edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering at Battle-Scarred. Against the bright base the wear stands out, yet the fox and warm color keep it recognizable as a Fennec Fox in-game.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is the priority. Field-Tested looks a fair bit tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Fennec Fox design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Why is there no StatTrak version?
StatTrak counters attach only to skins that come from weapon cases. Fennec Fox drops from Major Souvenir packages instead, so it was never made in a StatTrak variant — the gold-trimmed Souvenir edition is the collectible version to look for.
