Desert Eagle | Heat Treated (Minimal Wear)
The Desert Eagle | Heat Treated (Minimal Wear) is a Classified pistol skin finished in color case-hardened metal that runs through blues, purples, and coppery golds. Minimal Wear keeps that heat-tinted slide looking near-mint while shaving cost off the top Factory New grade.
Design
Heat Treated is a Valve design built on a "Case Hardening" style finish. High-temperature wood charcoal was used to color case-harden the steel, mottling it in blues, violets, and warm golds, and the look rides on that metallic texture instead of any printed artwork. Its in-game line fits the theme: "A little color never hurt anyone."
Desert Eagle | Heat Treated (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
The finish spans the whole float range, from 0.00 up to 1.00, so it exists in all five grades. Minimal Wear sits a notch below the top: the case-hardened coloring stays rich and only the faintest edge wear shows up on close inspection. For most buyers it looks all but identical to Factory New for a friendlier price.
Desert Eagle | Heat Treated Rarity
Rarity: Classified. That's the pink tier, one rung beneath Covert and the second-highest of the standard weapon grades — an uncommon grade to pull.
Desert Eagle | Heat Treated Case and Collection
You won't find this finish in an active case or collection drop, which means it isn't unboxed from anything currently in the pool — the market is where copies change hands. Supply is set, so listings, not containers, are the practical way to get one.
Desert Eagle | Heat Treated Patterns
The color case-hardening bakes in per-copy variation: the mix of blue, purple, and gold lands differently on each Deagle because the staining is randomized. It's worth checking the seed before buying — strongly blue copies are the ones collectors chase, whereas others turn out warmer and more copper-toned.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak edition of this finish exists. Kill-counter versions are seeded into weapon cases, and with Heat Treated absent from any active case drop, none was ever made. A Souvenir edition is off the table too, since Souvenir weapons only come out of Major-tournament packages and this finish never featured in one.
Desert Eagle | Heat Treated Price
Minimal Wear slots just under Factory New on the price ladder while looking very close to it, which makes it a smart value pick. It keeps the skin comfortably in affordable mid-tier range for a Desert Eagle. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Minimal Wear worth it over Factory New?
For most buyers, yes. Minimal Wear costs less than Factory New but keeps the case-hardened colors nearly as vivid, with only trace edge wear you'd need to look for. Pay up for Factory New if you want the absolute top grade; otherwise Minimal Wear is the better value on the same finish.
Does the color change at Minimal Wear?
The wear grade doesn't change the tint — the blue-purple-gold mix is set by the paint seed, not the float. What Minimal Wear affects is how worn the metal looks, and at this grade that's very little. A blue-leaning copy stays just as blue here as it would at Factory New.
Is this a good pick for a mid-budget loadout?
It is. The Heat Treated sits in affordable mid-tier territory for the Deagle, and Minimal Wear trims the price further without giving up much shine. You get a distinctive metallic finish that stands out against printed skins without spending grail-tier money.
