Desert Eagle | Heat Treated (Well-Worn)

Desert Eagle | Heat Treated (Well-Worn)

The Desert Eagle | Heat Treated (Well-Worn) is a Classified pistol skin whose color case-hardened slide — blues, purples, and coppery gold — here carries clear signs of use. It's a cheaper route into the metallic finish, with wear the tinted steel still partly carries in stride.

Design

Heat Treated comes from Valve and uses a "Case Hardening" style finish. Wood charcoal applied at high temperature color case-hardens the steel into a mottle of blue, violet, and warm gold, and the whole look rests on that metallic texture rather than any printed art. Its flavor line reads: "A little color never hurt anyone."

Desert Eagle | Heat Treated (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

The finish covers the entire float scale of 0.00–1.00, so all five grades exist. Well-Worn sits near the bottom, where scratching and metal dulling spread noticeably across the slide. The case-hardened colors still come through as the anchor, but there's no disguising that this is a worn grade — the trade-off is a lower price for the same finish.

Desert Eagle | Heat Treated Rarity

Rarity: Classified, the pink tier. It ranks just under Covert and comes in second from the top of the standard weapon grades — an uncommon grade to see.

Desert Eagle | Heat Treated Case and Collection

Because this finish isn't part of an active case or collection drop, there's nothing to unbox it from at the moment — copies trade on the open market. The supply is fixed, so listings are how players actually acquire one.

Desert Eagle | Heat Treated Patterns

Color case-hardening leaves each copy uniquely tinted — the amounts of blue, purple, and gold vary Deagle to Deagle because the staining is randomized. The seed is therefore worth checking before you buy: blue-dominant copies are the sought-after ones, while warmer, copper-heavy seeds are more common.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak version doesn't exist for this finish. The kill-counter variants get seeded into weapon cases, and since Heat Treated isn't in an active case drop, none was created. Nor is there a Souvenir version, as Souvenir weapons are made only through Major-tournament packages and this finish was never a Major drop.

Desert Eagle | Heat Treated Price

Well-Worn sits low on the price ladder, under Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way to run the case-hardened look without paying the mid-grade premium. It's one of the cheaper routes to the finish for this affordable mid-tier Deagle. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does the Well-Worn version look?

Fairly worn. You'll see clear scratching and dulled metal across the slide — heavier than Field-Tested but not the extreme battering of Battle-Scarred. The color case-hardened tints keep it recognizable, so it still reads as a Heat Treated at a glance despite the added wear.

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

Only if price leads your decision. Field-Tested looks meaningfully cleaner for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the case-hardened Deagle as cheaply as possible while stopping short of the fully battered Battle-Scarred grade.

Do the colors survive at Well-Worn?

They do. The blue-purple-gold staining is set by the paint seed, not the wear, so the tint itself doesn't fade with grade. What changes is the surface: dulling and scratches lay over the metal, but the case-hardened colors remain the defining feature of the skin.
