Desert Eagle | Starcade (Factory New)
The Desert Eagle | Starcade (Factory New) is a Classified pistol skin with a vibrant blue and cyan, arcade-inspired finish. Factory New is the cleanest grade it comes in, showing the metallic-flake paint at its most vivid.
Design
Starcade wears a playful, arcade-inspired look built on a vibrant blue and cyan color scheme, custom painted as an abstract design in metallic flake paint. It's an in-house Valve creation, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "A New High Score!"
Desert Eagle | Starcade (Factory New) Float and Wear
This finish runs a float range of 0.00–0.75, and Factory New sits at the very bottom of it. At this grade the metallic flake catches the light and the blue-and-cyan tones stay fully saturated, with no scuffing visible on the slide. For anyone who wants the arcade design exactly as intended, this is the grade to chase.
Desert Eagle | Starcade Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, sitting second from the top of the standard weapon grades, one step below Covert. It's a genuinely uncommon grade to pull from the collection.
Desert Eagle | Starcade Case and Collection
The Starcade belongs to The Graphic Design Collection, which arrived with The Armory update in October 2024. The Classified tier as a whole is an uncommon drop — around 3.2%, a rate shared across all of the tier's skins — so most copies change hands on the market rather than being pulled fresh.
Desert Eagle | Starcade Patterns
There's no random pattern variation on this skin — the abstract arcade artwork and metallic flake land identically on every copy, so there's no paint seed or blue gem to hunt for. Wear and float are the only things that set one apart from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
StatTrak versions are generated only inside weapon cases, and this skin doesn't drop from one, so there's no StatTrak Starcade. Souvenir copies come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Graphic Design Collection has never been a Major drop — which rules out a Souvenir version as well.
Desert Eagle | Starcade Price
Factory New sits at the top of the price ladder as the cleanest grade available — a clear step above Minimal Wear and a premium pick within the Desert Eagle lineup. You can grab it quickly and securely on Skin.Land whenever you want to add it to your loadout.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth it over Minimal Wear?
It depends on how much the top condition matters to you. Factory New shows the metallic flake at its brightest with zero wear, but the busy arcade graphic hides light scuffing so well that a Minimal Wear copy looks almost identical for noticeably less. Pay up for the best grade on the shelf, or save with Minimal Wear.
Which gloves go with the Starcade?
Its blue-and-cyan palette calls for a cool-toned loadout, so blue or teal gloves suit it best — something like the Sport Gloves | Amphibious picks up the cyan, and a wider blue loadout with matching pistols and stickers ties the arcade look together. Steer clear of warm reds and oranges, which clash with the scheme.
Who designed the Starcade?
It's a Valve in-house design rather than a community submission. The team painted an abstract, arcade-inspired graphic in metallic flake paint and gave it a playful in-game caption, "A New High Score!" — a nod to the retro-gaming theme that runs through the whole finish.
