Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 (Well-Worn)
The Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 (Well-Worn) is a Restricted pistol skin — a stormy-sea hydrographic over a red metallic base, here in a more weathered state. It's a cheaper way into the crimson storm Deagle, with wear the dark base still partly hides.
Design
At its core the finish sets a hydrographic of a stormy sea against a red metallic base coat, trading the usual cold storm colors for a warmer, sunset-toned effect. It comes with a fitting in-game line: "You think it's the same, but look again... subtlety makes all the difference."
Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the slide and body, where the red coat thins and the storm texture starts to break up. The design stays recognizable, but there's no disguising that this is a worn grade. Its float lands high in the 0.00–0.75 range — though not at the very top, since the finish is capped short of a full 1.0 (see Battle-Scarred). For players who prize the design over a flawless surface, this grade delivers it for less.
Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple grade — ranked above Mil-Spec and below Classified in the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one is genuinely uncommon, a clear step up from the routine lower-tier skins.
Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 Case and Collection
Belonging to The Rising Sun Collection, this Deagle came in with the Operation Bloodhound update during May 2015. As a group the Restricted tier unboxes roughly 15.98% of the time (an odds rate shared across the tier's skins), and with the collection out of the active drop rotation, supply is locked — most copies are found on the market rather than freshly opened.
Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 Patterns
Because the stormy-sea hydrographic prints the same on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — no phases, no paint seed, no blue gem to hunt. The only variables separating one Deagle from the next are its wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak version of this skin; StatTrak variants are unboxed from cases, and this finish was never released with a kill counter. There's no Souvenir version to look for either — those originate only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Rising Sun Collection was never among the Major drops.
Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 Price
Well-Worn sits low on this finish's ladder, under Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget route into a high-end, grail-tier Deagle for buyers unwilling to pay the mid-grade premium. It's one of the cheaper ways to get the crimson storm design into a loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does Well-Worn look?
Fairly rough. Expect noticeable scratching and paint thinning across the slide and body, more than Field-Tested but short of the heaviest grade. The red base and storm pattern keep it identifiable, so it still reads as a Sunset Storm 壱 in-game — just with obvious battle damage on show.
Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?
Mostly if price is the deciding factor. Field-Tested looks a good deal tidier for a fairly small step up in cost, so many buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want this design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Is this a good collector skin even worn?
It can be. The finish carries a high-end, grail-tier reputation regardless of grade, so even a worn copy taps into that appeal at a lower entry price. Collectors after a mint surface will prefer the higher grades, but Well-Worn is a valid budget-minded way in.
