Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline (Field-Tested)

Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline (Field-Tested)

The Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline (Field-Tested) is a Restricted pistol skin with a pink isometric barrel and bright blue hammer and front sight. Field-Tested is the most common, most affordable way to own it, with a little honest wear on a colorful design.

Design

At its heart the look is all color play: a bright blue hammer and front sight against a pink isometric pattern custom painted onto the barrel. The design comes from community artist moonfighter, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "Patience is its own reward."

Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Field-Tested falls in the middle of the 0.00–0.97 float range. Expect light scratching along the slide and edges, but the busy pink pattern breaks up the wear so it rarely jumps out, and the blue accents hold their color regardless of float. This is the grade most players end up with — the balance point between looks and cost.

Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier. It sits in the upper-middle of the standard weapon grades, one level above the common Mil-Spec blue drops, and counts as a decent grade to unbox.

Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Snakebite Collection and is unboxed from the Snakebite Case, which launched as the Broken Fang update came to a close in May 2021. Across the case the Restricted tier pulls at roughly 15.98% (a rate shared among the tier's skins), so the market stays well stocked with copies.

Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline Patterns

There's no paint-seed lottery on this Deagle: the pink isometric artwork and blue accents sit the same on every copy, so there's no "blue gem" or rare pattern to track down. The only things that set copies apart are wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak™ edition from the Snakebite Case, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it's scarcer and more expensive than the standard drop, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and the Snakebite Case has never been part of a Major.

Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline Price

Field-Tested is the value heart of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping the design instantly recognizable, which makes it the go-to for players who just want the skin in their loadout. On a pistol that's already budget-friendly, it's about as accessible as CS2 pricing gets. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested version look beat up?

Not really. There's light scratching on the slide and edges, but the loud pink pattern hides it well and the blue accents aren't affected by float at all. At normal viewing distance a Field-Tested copy still shows off the two-tone design clearly, which is why it's such a popular grade.

Is Field-Tested the best value Trigger Discipline?

For most buyers, yes. It costs less than Factory New or Minimal Wear but keeps almost the same look thanks to the busy pattern, and it's the easiest grade to find. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go cheaper still if you want the lowest possible entry price.

Which gloves go with Trigger Discipline?

Its pink-and-blue palette suits a colorful, upbeat loadout, so pink or blue gloves work best — a pink pair mirrors the barrel artwork, while blue wraps echo the hammer and front sight. Bright, hydro-style gloves lean into the playful character of the finish rather than fighting it.
