FAMAS | Afterimage (Well-Worn)
The FAMAS | Afterimage (Well-Worn) is the roughest grade this finish reaches, still carrying the blue base and broken ribbon trails under a heavier layer of scuffing. It's the cheapest way into this Classified design.
Design
The finish is defined by broken ribbon trails streaked across a blue base, a motion-blur aesthetic that skips a fixed emblem in favor of flowing detail. Valve is the designer behind it, going for a futuristic, high-contrast look.
FAMAS | Afterimage (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Float on Afterimage runs from 0.02 up to 0.4, and Well-Worn sits at the very top of that scale. The ribbon trails lose some sharpness and the blue base shows clear scuffing, though the design stays recognizable. Because the finish caps out at 0.4 instead of a full 1.0, this is as worn as an Afterimage ever gets — noticeably milder than a Battle-Scarred grade on a skin with the full float range.
FAMAS | Afterimage Rarity
Rarity: Classified, the pink tier — one grade below Covert and among the more uncommon standard weapon rarities to pull from a case.
FAMAS | Afterimage Case and Collection
Afterimage belongs to The eSports 2013 Winter Collection and originates from the eSports 2013 Winter Case, tied to the Winter Offensive update in December 2013. Classified drops from that case land around 3.2%, and since the case is inactive, the market is now the primary source for copies.
FAMAS | Afterimage Patterns
Every copy of this finish shares the same fixed ribbon-trail layout, so there's no paint-seed variation or special pattern to look for. Only float and wear change the outcome.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ edition exists for this finish, with a permanent kill counter and a rarer, pricier drop than the regular version. No Souvenir copy was ever made, since Souvenir weapons come exclusively from Major-tournament packages and Afterimage has never appeared in one.
FAMAS | Afterimage Price
Well-Worn is the most affordable grade on the Afterimage ladder, giving budget-minded buyers a way into this premium finish without paying Field-Tested or higher prices. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does Well-Worn look on the Afterimage?
Noticeably worn, with softened ribbon trails and visible scuffing across the blue base — but since float caps at 0.4, it never reaches the extreme wear a full-range skin's Battle-Scarred grade can show.
Is Well-Worn worth choosing over Field-Tested?
Mostly if price is the deciding factor. Field-Tested looks meaningfully cleaner for a modest cost increase, so it's the more popular pick, but Well-Worn is the way to go for the lowest possible entry price.
Why does Afterimage stop at Well-Worn instead of going to Battle-Scarred?
The finish's float is capped at 0.4, and Battle-Scarred requires a float well above that threshold. Since no copy of Afterimage ever reaches that range, Well-Worn is simply the last grade the game can generate.
