FAMAS | Meltdown (Well-Worn)

FAMAS | Meltdown (Well-Worn)

The FAMAS | Meltdown (Well-Worn) is a Classified rifle skin painted yellow with metallic nuclear hazard symbols, shown here at the roughest condition this finish reaches. It's the most affordable way to own this otherwise grail-tier design.

Design

The finish is a Valve creation built around a bright yellow base and metallic nuclear hazard symbols, designed to look like a warning sign more than a typical camo or graphic skin. The flavor text "Steer clear for a while..." fits the theme perfectly.

FAMAS | Meltdown (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Meltdown caps out at a 0.40 max float, meaning Well-Worn is as rough as this finish ever gets — there's no Battle-Scarred grade at all. Even at this top-worn tier, the wear stays milder than a full 1.00-float skin would show, with the yellow base picking up some fading but the metallic hazard symbols remaining clearly visible.

FAMAS | Meltdown Rarity

Rarity: Classified, the pink tier and second from the top of the standard weapon grades — a genuinely uncommon pull, and a key reason this finish sits at the high end of the market.

FAMAS | Meltdown Case and Collection

Meltdown is part of The 2021 Train Collection, which arrived with Operation Riptide in September 2021, and has no case of its own — copies come from collection or map drops, trade-ups, and the marketplace.

FAMAS | Meltdown Patterns

There's no random pattern variation on Meltdown — the hazard-symbol artwork sits the same way on every copy. No blue-gem or special-seed version exists to search for; wear and float are the only distinguishing factors.

StatTrak & Souvenir

Meltdown has neither a StatTrak nor a Souvenir version. StatTrak requires an eligible case unboxing, which this finish has never had, and Souvenir requires a Major-tournament package, which it was also never included in.

FAMAS | Meltdown Price

Well-Worn is the cheapest grade in the Meltdown lineup since there's no Battle-Scarred to undercut it further. It's the most budget-friendly way to pick up this otherwise high-end / grail-tier finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Well-Worn the cheapest FAMAS | Meltdown available?

Yes. Since Meltdown's float is capped at 0.40 and never reaches Battle-Scarred, Well-Worn is the lowest grade and typically the most affordable copy on the market. It's the entry point into an otherwise grail-tier finish.

Does Well-Worn look badly damaged on this skin?

Less than you'd expect. Because the float cap keeps Meltdown from ever reaching extreme wear, Well-Worn shows visible fading on the yellow base without looking trashed, and the metallic hazard symbols stay easy to spot.

Why doesn't the FAMAS | Meltdown have a StatTrak version?

StatTrak copies are only produced for finishes that drop from an eligible weapons case, and Meltdown has never been tied to one — it's a collection-drop finish instead. Without that case history, no StatTrak version can exist.
