FAMAS | Survivor Z (Field-Tested)

FAMAS | Survivor Z (Field-Tested)

The FAMAS | Survivor Z (Field-Tested) delivers the red, distressed-stencil design at a friendlier price than the cleaner grades. It's the most commonly picked wear for this Mil-Spec finish.

Design

Red paint applied through a masking-tape stencil, then intentionally distressed, gives Survivor Z its rough, post-apocalyptic character on the FAMAS. The design comes from community artists smkss and IGWTmenace, paired with the flavor line "What's red and white and fires full auto?"

FAMAS | Survivor Z (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Sitting in the middle of the 0–0.6 float band, Field-Tested adds some genuine handling wear on top of the design's built-in distressing — light scuffs on the stock and body. Since the stencil style already looks worn by design, the extra float here blends in more naturally than it would on a pristine finish.

FAMAS | Survivor Z Rarity

This is a Mil-Spec Grade skin, the blue tier — a step above the lowest rarities but multiple tiers under Restricted, Classified, and Covert. It's a widely available classification.

FAMAS | Survivor Z Case and Collection

Survivor Z is part of The Shadow Collection and drops from the Shadow Case, released in a September 2015 update. The Mil-Spec tier as a whole pulls at roughly 79.92% from that case, and since the Shadow Case is no longer in active circulation, most supply today comes from the market and trading.

FAMAS | Survivor Z Patterns

Every copy shares the same fixed stencil layout regardless of paint seed, so there's no pattern variation to hunt for on Survivor Z. Wear grade alone determines how any given copy actually looks.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ version of Survivor Z exists alongside the regular finish, adding a permanent kill count that transfers with the item through trades and sales. There's no Souvenir edition — those only come from Major-tournament packages, which this finish has never been included in.

FAMAS | Survivor Z Price

Field-Tested is the value pick on the Survivor Z ladder, priced below both Minimal Wear and Factory New while the design's built-in roughness hides the extra handling wear well. It keeps this affordable mid-tier finish even more accessible. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Field-Tested wear show much on Survivor Z?

Not dramatically — the design already leans on a distressed, roughed-up look, so extra float from actual play blends in rather than standing out. Expect light scuffing on the stock and body that fits the theme instead of clashing with it.

What gloves work with Survivor Z?

Its red-and-distressed palette pairs naturally with red-toned glove skins for a matching survivalist look. Building a best FAMAS Survivor Z glove combo around red or worn-leather styles keeps the whole loadout thematically consistent.

Is Field-Tested the best value grade for Survivor Z?

For most buyers, yes — it costs less than Minimal Wear and Factory New while the intentionally rough design covers the extra wear well. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if minimizing price is the only goal.
