FAMAS | Teardown (Minimal Wear)
The FAMAS | Teardown (Minimal Wear) keeps the mesh-textured blue spray job close to its sharpest state. It's a slightly more affordable route into one of the pricier FAMAS finishes.
Design
The blue color on Teardown comes from freehand spray paint pushed through a mesh-fabric stencil, producing a fine textured pattern instead of a smooth coat. Valve is credited as the designer, and this finish doesn't carry a flavor-text quote.
FAMAS | Teardown (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Sitting near the bottom of the 0–0.6 float range, Minimal Wear looks close to Factory New — the mesh texture stays sharp and the blue tone holds evenly, with only the slightest hint of extra wear if you look closely. Most of the finish's visual appeal survives fully intact at this grade.
FAMAS | Teardown Rarity
This finish is Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier — a common classification on the standard rarity ladder, well below Restricted, Classified, and Covert, even though its market price runs much higher than most skins at this grade.
FAMAS | Teardown Case and Collection
Teardown belongs to The Safehouse Collection, released back in November 2013. No case ties to it, so copies pass through the collection and the market instead of a fixed drop rate; a Souvenir version comes separately from Major packages, first the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package, and other Majors since.
FAMAS | Teardown Patterns
Every copy shares the exact same mesh-stencil spray pattern — paint seed changes nothing about how Teardown looks. There's no rare variant to search for, only wear grade differences.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A regular and a Souvenir version of Teardown both exist, though no StatTrak build was ever made. Souvenir copies trace back to the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package initially, with additional Major-tournament packages later on, since Souvenir stock only ever comes from those events.
FAMAS | Teardown Price
Minimal Wear sits just under Factory New on the price ladder, offering nearly the same mesh-texture detail for somewhat less. It's still firmly in high-end, grail-tier territory for a FAMAS finish, just the more accessible end of it. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does Minimal Wear look much different from Factory New?
Not really — both grades sit near the bottom of Teardown's float range, so the mesh texture and blue tone look nearly identical. Minimal Wear is the more budget-friendly of the two without sacrificing much visual quality.
Where does the Souvenir Teardown come from?
It's handed out through Major-tournament souvenir packages rather than the regular collection — the first was the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package, with later Majors adding more. The regular version on this page comes from The Safehouse Collection and the market instead.
Why doesn't Teardown have StatTrak?
Valve simply never produced a StatTrak build for this finish — it exists only as a regular and a Souvenir version. That's a fixed fact about the skin rather than something that changes over time.
