Galil AR | Hunting Blind (Field-Tested)
The Galil AR | Hunting Blind (Field-Tested) shows the same freehand mesh-stencil texture in the classic mid-range condition. It's the balance point of this long-running Consumer Grade finish.
Design
Paint sprayed freehand through a mesh fabric stencil gives this finish its natural, textured camouflage look. It's credited to Valve, and its earthy, hunting-inspired aesthetic has stuck around since the Mirage Collection's debut.
Galil AR | Hunting Blind (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested sits around the midpoint of the Hunting Blind's 0.00–0.60 float range. Some scuffing shows up at this grade, but the mesh-stencil pattern's texture naturally masks it better than a smooth, flat finish would.
Galil AR | Hunting Blind Rarity
As a Consumer Grade finish, the Hunting Blind sits at the base of the standard weapon rarity ladder — the most common grade in the game.
Galil AR | Hunting Blind Case and Collection
The Hunting Blind is part of The Mirage Collection, dated to the "Out with the old, in with the new" update in November 2013 — one of the longer-running collections still active today. It has no weapon case, so it's obtained via collection drops and trade-ups.
Galil AR | Hunting Blind Patterns
This finish has no pattern variation between copies — the mesh-stencil texture lands the same way regardless of paint seed. There's no blue-gem angle; wear and float alone tell copies apart.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak version exists, but a Souvenir version does. It first appeared in the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and has continued through many later Major-tournament souvenir packages over the years.
Galil AR | Hunting Blind Price
Field-Tested runs cheaper than Minimal Wear while the mesh camouflage texture still reads clearly, keeping this affordable mid-tier finish accessible. It's ready to buy on Skin.Land whenever you want it.
FAQ
Is Field-Tested the best value on the Hunting Blind?
For most buyers, yes. The textured mesh-stencil design hides wear better than a flat color finish would, so Field-Tested still looks good while costing less than the top grades. It's a reasonable middle ground for most loadouts.
Why has the Hunting Blind had so many Souvenir packages?
Because it's part of The Mirage Collection, one of the longest-active map collections in the game, it's been featured repeatedly at Major tournaments over many years. Each Major that showcased Mirage introduced another Souvenir package carrying this finish.
Is Field-Tested good value for Hunting Blind?
Yes. The busy camo pattern masks light wear well at Field-Tested, so the finish still looks intact in-game at a friendlier price than the cleaner grades.
