The Glock-18 | Catacombs (Battle-Scarred, BS) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with a gothic skull hydrographic over a silver metallic base, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the finish, trading surface polish for the lowest entry price.
Design
Catacombs keeps its theme dark: a hydrographic of skulls printed across a silver metallic paint base, a gothic look driven by shadow and texture rather than color. Designed by the community artist SA_22, it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Intimidation is the sincerest form of flattery."
Glock-18 | Catacombs (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the slide and body, and the silver sheen is worn thin in places. The skull hydrographic survives as the detail that keeps the skin readable. This finish is capped at 0.50, so it never reaches the extreme end of the float scale, and the design stays legible even at its roughest.

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier. It sits at the foot of the standard colored weapon grades and is the most common of them, which is why the skin stays cheap.

Catacombs sits in The Chroma Collection and is unboxed from the Chroma Case, released in January 2015. As a group the Mil-Spec tier drops around 79.92% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), making blue-grade items the most frequent thing a case gives up.

Is the Battle-Scarred Catacombs still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and dulled metal, the skull hydrographic keeps the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the gothic look entirely.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Catacombs look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.50 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. The skull print also carries the design regardless of surface condition, so it stays more legible here than many lighter, plainer skins do.
Which gloves suit the Battle-Scarred Catacombs?
Its worn silver-and-gothic styling pairs naturally with equally rugged, dark gloves — aged-leather wraps in gray or black complement the scuffed metal and skull theme. Keep the palette muted; bright gloves would fight the understated base.
