Glock-18 | Clear Polymer (Field-Tested)

Glock-18 | Clear Polymer (Field-Tested)

The Glock-18 | Clear Polymer (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with a tan slide and a blue trigger in a minimalist, futuristic style. Field-Tested is the everyday middle grade — a little honest wear on a finish that stays easy on the eyes, for a budget price.

Design

At its core the finish is a tan slide set against a blue trigger — a modern, stripped-back two-tone look that skips graphics entirely in favor of clean color blocking. It began as a community submission from the artist Strenson, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "What you see is what you get."

Glock-18 | Clear Polymer (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

At Field-Tested the tan slide takes on light scratching along the edges and high spots, though the blue trigger holds its color regardless of float. The wear is visible on close inspection but never overwhelms the two-tone design. This grade sits in the middle of the 0.00–1.00 scale — the practical balance between looks and cost.

Glock-18 | Clear Polymer Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, sitting at the entry level of the standard weapon grades. It's the most common band to unbox, which is a big reason this skin stays cheap and easy to find.

Glock-18 | Clear Polymer Case and Collection

Clear Polymer is one of The Snakebite Collection finishes and drops from the Snakebite Case, which launched as the Broken Fang update wrapped up in May 2021. The Mil-Spec tier as a group unboxes about 79.92% of the time from the case (that rate is shared across the tier), so there's no shortage of copies to buy.

Glock-18 | Clear Polymer Patterns

Because the tan slide and blue trigger are placed the same on every copy, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ only by wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ Glock-18 | Clear Polymer does exist and brings a confirmed-kill counter along; it's a scarcer, more expensive Snakebite Case drop than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent — it carries over whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir version was never made, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and the Snakebite Case has never been a Major drop.

Glock-18 | Clear Polymer Price

Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping the two-tone look clearly intact, on a Glock finish that's affordable to begin with. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Clear Polymer look beat up?

Not really. There's light scratching on the tan slide when you look closely, but the flat finish and the untouched blue trigger keep the design readable at normal viewing distance. For a budget Glock, it holds its appearance well and reads clearly as Clear Polymer in-game.

Is Field-Tested the best value?

For most buyers, yes. It's noticeably cheaper than Minimal Wear and Factory New while the two-tone look stays recognizable, and it's the easiest grade to find on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred cost less again if you want the lowest entry price.

Which gloves pair with Clear Polymer?

Its tan-and-blue palette fits a light, two-tone loadout, so sand or blue gloves are the natural match — tan wraps echo the slide, blue picks up the trigger. Muted desert or navy pairs keep the minimalist feel without clashing.
