M4A1-S | Control Panel (Battle-Scarred)
The M4A1-S | Control Panel (Battle-Scarred) is a Classified rifle skin — a blue base of hand-painted dials and switches, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the console design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
Control Panel keeps a strong theme even under damage: a blue base covered in hand-painted dials and switches, an industrial console look that turns the M4A1-S into a machine front. It's a Valve design centered on control motifs, and it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Is this line secure?"
M4A1-S | Control Panel (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
The finish uses the full 0.00–1.00 float range, and Battle-Scarred sits at the very top of it — so unlike float-capped skins, this grade does reach the extreme worn end. Heavy scratching and paint loss cover the panel, wearing away the smallest switch text, but the blue base and main dials keep the design identifiable. It's the roughest the artwork gets.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink grade. It sits one rung under Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon tiers, which makes it an uncommon grade to hold.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Case and Collection
The Control Panel sits in The 2018 Nuke Collection, released together with the FACEIT 2018 update in September 2018. No weapon case unboxes it — the collection is a Major-souvenir set — and across the board the Classified tier drops about 3.2% of the time, a rate shared among the tier's skins. As a result, the market is where most copies come from.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Patterns
The finish has no random pattern variation: the dials, switches, and blue base are printed the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is no StatTrak edition of this skin. StatTrak variants are minted by weapon cases, and because the Control Panel was never a case skin, a kill-counter copy doesn't exist. The Souvenir version, however, is real — it drops from the Major-tournament Nuke Souvenir Packages, the earliest being the London 2018 Nuke Souvenir Package.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the console design for players who care about the look more than the condition. If you want this M4A1-S for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Control Panel still recognizable?
Yes. Even with heavy scuffing and paint loss, the blue base and the larger dials keep the console theme clearly readable at a glance in-game. What you lose at this grade is the finest switch text and gauge markings; the overall design still comes through.
Does Battle-Scarred reach the most extreme wear?
It can. Because the finish uses the full float range up to 1.00 rather than a lower cap, its Battle-Scarred copies do reach the heaviest end of the scale. Floats vary between copies, so browsing for a lower-float Battle-Scarred can land you a cleaner-looking one for near the same price.
Which gloves go with the Control Panel?
Its blue base and mixed accents pair with a cool-toned loadout, so blue or gray gloves suit it best — blue picks up the base color, while gray keeps the rugged, machine-panel character intact even at this worn grade.
