M4A1-S | Control Panel (Field-Tested)
The M4A1-S | Control Panel (Field-Tested) is a Classified rifle skin with a blue base full of hand-painted dials and switches. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it — a moderate amount of honest wear on a design that stays clearly readable, for well under the higher grades.
Design
The look is all machine: a blue base covered in hand-painted gauges, dials, and switches that make the M4A1-S resemble a control console. It's a Valve creation built on that tech-control theme, and it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Is this line secure?"
M4A1-S | Control Panel (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
With float running the full 0.00–1.00 range, Field-Tested lands in the middle of the scale. Here you'll see moderate scuffing on the edges and raised surfaces, but the central panel keeps its dials and switches legible and the blue base stays clearly blue. This is the grade most buyers settle on — the sweet spot between look and price.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink grade, ranked just beneath Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon tiers. Landing one is genuinely uncommon.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Case and Collection
Belonging to The 2018 Nuke Collection, this finish was introduced in the FACEIT 2018 update back in September 2018. It doesn't drop from any weapon case — the collection is a Major-souvenir set — and as a group the Classified tier unboxes about 3.2% of the time, a rate shared across the tier. Copies mostly circulate on the market instead of coming from fresh drops.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Patterns
No random pattern variation applies to the Control Panel: the dials, switches, and blue base sit the same on each copy, meaning there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Only wear and float tell one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak edition of this skin was never made. Because StatTrak items are generated by weapon cases and the Control Panel never appeared in one, there's no kill-counter version to buy. Souvenir copies, on the other hand, do turn up — they're distributed through the Major-tournament Nuke Souvenir Packages, with the London 2018 Nuke Souvenir Package being the first.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Price
Field-Tested is the value pocket of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping the artwork clearly readable, which is a big reason it's the most-owned grade. It's a premium finish that still won't break the bank. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Control Panel look worn?
A little, but not badly. You'll notice moderate scuffing along the edges and on the raised parts, while the central console artwork — the dials, switches, and blue base — stays clearly legible. Most players find it reads as a solid, intact skin in-game without paying mid-to-high grade money.
Is Field-Tested the best value Control Panel?
For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear yet keeps the busy panel design readable, and it's the easiest grade to find on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier wear over the artwork.
Which gloves go with the Control Panel?
Its blue base and mixed accent colors pair with a cool loadout, so blue or gray gloves fit best — blue echoes the base while gray keeps the industrial, control-board character front and center.
