M4A1-S | Cyrex (Well-Worn)
The M4A1-S | Cyrex (Well-Worn) is a Covert rifle skin with an industrial black, white, and red design, here in a more battered state. It's a cheaper route into one of the silenced M4's signature finishes, with wear that the darker sections partly absorb.
Design
At its heart the finish is a custom high-tech design in black, white, and red — a futuristic, mechanical motif of panels and circuitry with no camo or graffiti in sight. Nextgenz, a community artist, created it, and it comes with a fitting bit of in-game dialogue: "Sebastien is coming for me Valeria... we don't have much time - Chase Turner, Coalition Defector."
M4A1-S | Cyrex (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
High up the 0.00–0.50 float range, Well-Worn shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the panels and edges, with the white sections taking the heaviest hit. The red accents survive as the anchor that keeps the design readable. For players who care more about price than a spotless surface, this grade delivers the recognizable Cyrex look for less.
M4A1-S | Cyrex Rarity
Rarity: Covert — the red grade, ranked at the very top of the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one from a case is as rare as it gets among the standard skins.
M4A1-S | Cyrex Case and Collection
Belonging to The Breakout Collection, Cyrex drops from the Operation Breakout Weapon Case that came out with Operation Breakout in July 2014. As the Covert tier it unboxes about 0.64% of the time from the case — the rarest pull on offer — and with the case retired from the active drop pool, supply is fixed, so buyers get most copies on the market rather than from unboxing.
M4A1-S | Cyrex Patterns
Because the black, white, and red artwork lands the same way on every copy, Cyrex has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to chase down. What sets one copy apart from the next is wear and float alone.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Cyrex does exist and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a scarcer, more expensive drop from the Operation Breakout Weapon Case, and that counter is permanent, carrying over whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir edition was never produced — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and this finish never appeared in one.
M4A1-S | Cyrex Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the Cyrex ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It's one of the cheaper routes to a genuine Cyrex in your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Cyrex look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and paint thinning on the white panels and around the edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering of Battle-Scarred. The red detailing and the mechanical layout keep it identifiable, so it still reads clearly as Cyrex in-game.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is your top priority. Field-Tested looks a good deal better for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Cyrex design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to the roughest grade.
Do the light panels show wear more than the rest?
Yes. The white sections reveal scratches and paint loss most plainly at this grade, while the black areas hide damage better and the red accents stay bold. That contrast is why a Well-Worn copy still comes across as recognizably Cyrex despite the visible scuffing.
