M4A1-S | Decimator (Well-Worn)
The M4A1-S | Decimator (Well-Worn) is a Classified rifle skin with a futuristic blue, purple, and pink finish, here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper route into a distinctive sci-fi M4A1-S, with wear the busy color scheme still partly disguises.
Design
At its core the finish is a futuristic blend of blue, purple, and pink hues sweeping across the rifle for a striking sci-fi look. It began as a community submission from the artist Coridium, custom painted with bold blue and pink highlights, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "Quiet retrofuturism."
M4A1-S | Decimator (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the body and edges, sitting high on the 0.00–0.85 scale but stopping short of its capped maximum. The gradient dulls in the worn spots, though the blue-to-pink core keeps the skin identifiable. For players who care more about price than a flawless surface, the design comes through here for less.
M4A1-S | Decimator Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, sitting one step under Covert and second-highest among the standard weapon grades. It's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox.
M4A1-S | Decimator Case and Collection
The Decimator sits in The Spectrum Collection and is unboxed from the Spectrum Case, released together with the "Take a trip to the Canals" update in March 2017. As a group the Classified tier drops around 3.2% of the time (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), and most copies now reach buyers through the market rather than fresh unboxing.
M4A1-S | Decimator Patterns
Because the gradient and sci-fi motifs are placed the same way on every Decimator, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also find a StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Decimator, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, pricier Spectrum Case drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and the Spectrum Case has never featured as a Major drop.
M4A1-S | Decimator Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget path to the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It keeps this affordable mid-tier M4A1-S well within reach. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Decimator look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scuffing and paint thinning across the body and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heavy battering. The vivid gradient survives in the untouched areas, so the skin still reads as the Decimator in-game, just with obvious signs of use.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is your priority. Field-Tested looks a good deal cleaner for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the sci-fi design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred, which is worn heavier still.
How much worse can the top-worn grade get?
Not as far as you might expect. The finish is float-capped at 0.85 rather than the full 1.0, so even Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear — Well-Worn sits just below that ceiling, keeping the color scheme readable despite the scuffing.
