The M4A1-S | Hyper Beast (Field-Tested) is a Covert rifle skin with a beastly creature painted in psychedelic blue and purple. Field-Tested is the popular middle grade — a touch of honest wear on artwork bold enough to shrug it off, for well under the higher conditions.
Design
The look is all attitude: a snarling beast rendered in psychedelic color, driven by blue and purple tones for a fantastical style that pops on the M4A1-S. It began as a community submission from the artist frontaLOBE, and it comes with an in-game line: "You really want to impress me Booth? Make this black light sensitive - Rona Sabri, Rising Star."
M4A1-S | Hyper Beast (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Running the full 0.00–1.00 float scale, this finish lands in the middle at Field-Tested. The frame picks up light scratching along the edges and rails, but the busy psychedelic artwork absorbs it well and the beast still reads bright at a glance. This is the grade most players settle on — the balance point between looks and cost.

Rarity: Covert — the red grade, the highest of the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one from a case is genuinely rare.

Part of The Chroma 2 Collection, the Hyper Beast drops from the Chroma 2 Case that arrived with the April 2015 update on April 15, 2015. The Covert tier as a group unboxes about 0.64% of the time (that odds figure is shared across the tier), which is why most copies change hands on the market rather than coming straight from a case.
M4A1-S | Hyper Beast Patterns
The Hyper Beast carries no random pattern variation: the beast artwork is placed the same on each copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ only by wear and float.

Is Field-Tested the best value Hyper Beast?
