M4A1-S | Electrum (Battle-Scarred)
The M4A1-S | Electrum (Battle-Scarred) is a Restricted rifle skin with a marbled green body and gold and red accents, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the finish, trading surface quality for the lowest entry price.
Design
Electrum is a marbled green base overlaid with gold and red accents that run across the receiver and body — a custom paint job with an ornate, metallic character that separates it from the more common M4A1-S coatings. Designed by community artist moonfighter, it ships with an in-game line: "They don't pay you enough to carry that, but I will - Valeria Jenner, Revolutionary."
M4A1-S | Electrum (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Float on this finish runs the full range up to 1.00, so Battle-Scarred copies can reach the rough end of the scale — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the marbled green wears thin in the most exposed spots. The gold and red accents survive as the detail that keeps the design legible. It stays clearly recognizable even at its most beaten.
M4A1-S | Electrum Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple grade. It ranks above Mil-Spec and just under Classified, placing it in the upper-middle of the standard weapon tiers, and it's an uncommon grade to unbox.
M4A1-S | Electrum Case and Collection
Part of The Dead Hand Collection, the Electrum drops from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal that arrived with the Dead Hand update in March 2026. The Restricted tier as a group unboxes roughly 15.98% of the time from the case (that odds figure is shared across the tier's skins), so it's one of the more reachable purples on offer.
M4A1-S | Electrum Patterns
There's no random pattern variation on the Electrum: the marbled green and its gold-and-red accents appear the same on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth chasing. The only differences between copies come down to wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak Electrum — no counter-carrying version of the finish was ever made. A Souvenir edition is off the table too, for a mechanical reason: Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Dead Hand Collection has never been a Major drop.
M4A1-S | Electrum Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the green-and-gold design for players who care more about the look than the condition. Paired with the skin's budget standing across the M4A1-S range, it's about as low-cost as this Restricted gets. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Electrum still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and paint loss, the marbled green base and the gold-and-red accents keep the design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look altogether.
How worn can the Battle-Scarred Electrum get?
Because the finish uses the full float range up to 1.00, its Battle-Scarred copies can reach the extreme end of the wear scale, with pronounced scratching and thinning across the green. Floats vary from copy to copy, so it's worth checking the specific value before buying if surface condition matters to you.
Which gloves go with the Electrum?
Its green base and gold accents suit an earthy, warm-metal loadout, so olive, forest-green, or gold-toned gloves pair well — a green pair echoes the marbled base while gold-accented wraps play off the metallic detailing for a coordinated look.
