M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch (Factory New)
The M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch (Factory New) is a Classified rifle skin — a bright green pearlescent hydrographic finish built around a glitch-inspired concept. Factory New is the top grade the finish comes in, showing the pearlescent green at its most vivid.
Design
The Fatal Glitch was created by Valve rather than a community workshop designer, and it runs a glitch-inspired concept across the CS2 M4A1-S model. It has been custom painted using bright green pearlescent paint, giving the surface a shifting sheen as the light moves. It carries a fitting in-game line: "When keeping a low profile isn't an option."
M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch (Factory New) Float and Wear
The finish spans the full float range of 0.00–1.00, and Factory New sits at the very bottom of that scale (roughly 0.00–0.07). At this grade the pearlescent green reads at full saturation, the glitch motif stays sharp, and there's no visible scuffing anywhere on the body. If you want the design exactly as intended, this is the grade to reach for.
M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, second from the top of the standard weapon grades, sitting just below Covert. It's a genuinely uncommon grade to pull.
M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch Case and Collection
The Fatal Glitch belongs to The Spy Tech Collection, introduced with the Armory / Season 5 update in July 2026. The Classified tier accounts for roughly 3.2% of the collection's drops (a rate shared across the tier's skins). As one of the newer additions to the game, its supply is still building.
M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch Patterns
The Fatal Glitch has no random pattern variation — the pearlescent green hydrographic lands the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. Wear and float are the only things that separate one from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is no StatTrak version of the Fatal Glitch. StatTrak variants are seeded through weapon cases, and this finish isn't distributed that way, so no confirmed-kill counter exists for it. A Souvenir version doesn't exist either — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and The Spy Tech Collection has never been a Major drop.
M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch Price
Factory New is the highest grade on the ladder, so it commands the top of the range for this finish. Because the skin is a recent release, it doesn't have an established market listing yet, and availability is still settling in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth the premium here?
If you want the pearlescent green at full strength, yes. Factory New shows the finish with maximum saturation and the sharpest glitch detail, no edge wear anywhere. It's the grade collectors chase, though lower grades give you nearly the same look for less once the market fills out.
How bright is the green at this grade?
Very. The pearlescent paint reads at its most vivid in Factory New, and the sheen shifts noticeably as the light catches it in-game. This is the loudest the finish gets — fitting for a skin whose in-game line is about not keeping a low profile.
Which gloves go with the Fatal Glitch?
Its bright green palette suits a bold, high-contrast loadout, so green or dark gloves work best — a green pair leans into the pearlescent finish, while black wraps let the color pop on its own. Pair it with other neon-leaning pieces for a matching setup.
