M4A1-S | Flashback (Well-Worn)
The M4A1-S | Flashback (Well-Worn) is a Restricted rifle skin with a hand-painted green finish and a retro, artistic style, here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper route into an art-driven M4A1-S design, with wear that the finish still carries decently.
Design
Flashback is a green, hand-painted finish with a retro and artistic character, designed by community studio Superior Weapons. It began as their creative take, with paint applied by hand in what the note calls a suggestion about the duality of man, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "For the joker in all of us."
M4A1-S | Flashback (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
On the full 0.00–1.00 float scale, Well-Worn sits toward the upper end. At this grade the green paint shows clear scuffing and fading across the body and edges, where the artwork thins out and detail is lost. The design stays recognizable, but there's no disguising that this is a worn condition aimed at buyers who prize price over a flawless surface.
M4A1-S | Flashback Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier. It sits above Mil-Spec and just under Classified — squarely in the middle of the standard weapon grades and a notch above the common blue skins.
M4A1-S | Flashback Case and Collection
Belonging to The Glove Collection, this finish is unboxed from the Glove Case that launched with the Glove Case update in November 2016. As a group the Restricted tier drops around 15.98% of the time (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), and because the Glove Case is still active, copies come from a mix of unboxing and market buys.
M4A1-S | Flashback Patterns
Because the green artwork sits the same way on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Wear and float are all that set one copy apart from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ variant does exist and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a scarcer, more expensive Glove Case drop than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent — it carries over whenever the item changes hands. A Souvenir version was never produced, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages and this case was never part of a Major.
M4A1-S | Flashback Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the price ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It's one of the cheaper ways to get a genuine Flashback into your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Flashback look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scuffing and faded paint across the body and edges, where the green artwork thins — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering at Battle-Scarred. The retro design keeps it identifiable, so it still reads as a Flashback in-game despite the wear.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price leads your decision. Field-Tested keeps the paint looking meaningfully better for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers lean that way. Well-Worn earns its place when you want the design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.
What is the M4A1-S | Flashback known for?
It's a hand-painted, retro-styled green finish from community studio Superior Weapons, built on an artistic motif rather than standard camo. That painterly, off-beat approach is its draw — the rifle reads as a creative art piece, which keeps it collectible even in worn grades like this one.
