M4A1-S | Glitched Paint (Well-Worn)

M4A1-S | Glitched Paint (Well-Worn)

The M4A1-S | Glitched Paint (Well-Worn) is a Restricted rifle skin showing its glitch-inspired, multicolored paint in a more battered state. It's a cheaper route into the pixelated design, with wear the busy pattern still partly disguises.

Design

At its core the finish is a multicolored abstract paint pattern — glitch-inspired digital strokes smeared across the silenced M4 in deliberately corrupted, pixelated fashion. Valve built it around a tech-forward concept, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "Please return to display after use."

M4A1-S | Glitched Paint (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Well-Worn sits high on the 0.00–0.67 float range, one grade below the cap. The finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the body, though the chaotic multicolored pattern hides some of it. The absolute roughest end of the scale is reserved for Battle-Scarred, which is float-capped at 0.67 — see that grade for the full story.

M4A1-S | Glitched Paint Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the blue tier — a mid-high grade that ranks two below Covert in the standard weapon order. It's fairly common to come across, yet still a rung up from the base-level drops.

M4A1-S | Glitched Paint Case and Collection

Part of The Radiant Collection, this finish debuted with the Spring Forward update back in March 2025. The Restricted tier unboxes at roughly 15.98% within the collection's pool, so Glitched Paint is among the easier finishes to obtain, and by now the market supplies far more copies than fresh drops do.

M4A1-S | Glitched Paint Patterns

The multicolored abstract pattern is fixed — it lands the same on every copy, and there are no phase variants to sift through as you would on a Doppler. Copies differ from one another only by their wear level and float value.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You won't find a StatTrak version of this skin; a kill-counter edition simply was never made. A Souvenir version is absent as well, because Souvenir weapons are generated only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the collection this finish belongs to was never a Major drop.

M4A1-S | Glitched Paint Price

Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the finish's ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a low-cost way into the pixelated design for players who won't pay a mid-grade premium. Given the finish is already budget-priced, this is genuinely cheap. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How rough does the Well-Worn copy look?

Noticeably worn. Expect visible scuffing and paint loss across the rifle — more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heaviest damage. The busy multicolored pattern keeps the glitchy character readable, so it still looks like Glitched Paint in-game, just weathered.

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

Only if you're chasing the lowest price. Field-Tested looks a fair bit fresher for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the design as cheaply as possible without going all the way down to Battle-Scarred.

Does the color survive the wear?

Mostly. The multicolored strokes lose some vibrancy and pick up scuffing at Well-Worn, but the sheer busyness of the glitch pattern means the color still comes through. It reads as a faded, roughed-up version of the finish rather than a washed-out one.
