M4A1-S | Icarus Fell (Minimal Wear)

M4A1-S | Icarus Fell (Minimal Wear)

The M4A1-S | Icarus Fell (Minimal Wear) is a Restricted rifle skin carrying a Greek-myth hydrographic of feathers and melted wax around a sun. Minimal Wear keeps almost all of the Factory New sharpness for a little less, thanks to a float ladder that never runs deep.

Design

This is a Valve design rooted in Greek mythology: the M4A1-S wears a hydrographic of feathers and melted wax circling a central sun, an intricate retelling of the Icarus legend. The finish ships with a fitting in-game line — "Turner's betrayal is my failure... I have to make this right - Sebastien Hennequet, Sniper".

M4A1-S | Icarus Fell (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.10, Minimal Wear is the most worn grade Icarus Fell ever reaches — and that cap means even this bottom rung stays milder than the worn grades of a full-1.0 skin. At Minimal Wear the feathers pick up only the faintest edge scuffing, the sun and wax hold their color, and the artwork reads clearly at a glance.

M4A1-S | Icarus Fell Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple grade. It ranks in the upper-middle of the standard weapon tiers — above Mil-Spec blue, below Classified pink — and counts as a notably better pull than the common drops.

M4A1-S | Icarus Fell Case and Collection

Part of The Gods and Monsters Collection, Icarus Fell arrived with Operation Bloodhound back in May 2015. The Restricted tier across that collection unboxes about 15.98% of the time (an odds figure shared among the tier's skins), and since Gods and Monsters is a collection and not an active case, buyers pick up most copies on the market rather than from unboxing.

M4A1-S | Icarus Fell Patterns

Icarus Fell carries no random pattern variation: the feather, wax, and sun artwork lands identically on every copy, so nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" is worth hunting. The only things that set copies apart are their wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak Icarus Fell was ever made — kill-counter variants are minted inside weapon cases, and this finish is a collection drop rather than a case skin, so the mechanism that creates StatTrak simply never applied. A Souvenir version is absent for a different reason: Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Gods and Monsters Collection has never featured as a Major drop.

M4A1-S | Icarus Fell Price

Minimal Wear is the more approachable of the two grades, sitting just below Factory New on the ladder while keeping nearly the same look. It's still a premium M4A1-S finish rather than a budget one — a smart way to own the Icarus artwork if you'd rather not pay top condition. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Minimal Wear Icarus Fell look worn?

Barely. Because the finish caps at 0.10, even Minimal Wear only shows the lightest edge scuffing, with the feathers, wax, and sun still crisp and saturated. Most buyers would struggle to tell it apart from Factory New in-game, which is a big part of its appeal as the value grade.

Is Minimal Wear the best value Icarus Fell?

For most buyers, yes. It costs less than Factory New but looks almost identical thanks to the tight float cap, so you keep the sharp Icarus artwork while spending less. Factory New only makes sense if you specifically want the highest possible condition on the shelf.

Which gloves go with Icarus Fell?

Its warm gold, cream, and feather-brown palette calls for an earthy, sun-toned loadout, so tan, bronze, or off-white gloves suit it well — a sandy pair echoes the wax and sun, while cream wraps play up the mythological look. A warm-toned knife rounds the set out nicely.
