M4A1-S | Leaded Glass (Battle-Scarred)

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass (Battle-Scarred)

The M4A1-S | Leaded Glass (Battle-Scarred) is a Classified rifle skin styled after shattered blue and orange glass, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the finish, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.

Design

Leaded Glass keeps to a single artistic idea: a leaded-glass motif hand painted to resemble shattered blue and orange panes, striking to look at without any busy clutter. Designed by community artist de puiseau, whose work centers on glass patterns, it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Lethal fragility."

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scuffing and paint loss spread across the body, and the glass shards lose their crisp edges. Note that Leaded Glass is float-capped at 0.70 rather than the full 1.0, so even its most worn copies never reach the extreme end of the wear scale, and the shattered-glass pattern stays legible at its roughest.

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass Rarity

Rarity: Classified, the pink tier. It sits directly below Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon grades, and it's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox.

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass Case and Collection

This finish is found in The Spectrum 2 Collection and is unboxed from the Spectrum 2 Case, released in September 2017. The Classified tier drops around 3.2% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), and because the Spectrum 2 Case is out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed — most copies come from the market rather than from unboxing.

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass Patterns

The painted glasswork shows no random variation — the blue-and-orange shards land the same on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. What sets copies apart is only their wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ version is available too, adding a confirmed-kill counter; it drops from the Spectrum 2 Case more rarely and for more than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, carried with the item through any trade or sale. No Souvenir version was ever produced — Souvenir weapons come solely from Major-tournament packages, and the Spectrum 2 Case has never been a Major drop.

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the glass design for players who care more about the look than the condition. Within an affordable mid-tier M4A1-S finish, it's the lowest cost of entry there is. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred copy still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the blue-and-orange shard pattern keeps the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the glass look entirely — the fracture detail still comes through.

Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred copy look completely destroyed?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.70 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. Combined with a busy shard pattern that breaks up damage visually, the skin stays more legible here than many plainer finishes do at the same grade.

Which gloves work with Leaded Glass?

Its cool blue base with orange highlights pairs with blue or teal gloves for the foundation and an orange-flecked accent pair to echo the warm shards. Blue Specialist or Hydra gloves round out the glassy, artistic feel across the loadout.
