M4A1-S | Leaded Glass (Field-Tested)

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass (Field-Tested)

The M4A1-S | Leaded Glass (Field-Tested) is a Classified rifle skin styled like shattered blue and orange glass, here with a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the popular middle grade — the sweet spot between the vivid glass look and a friendlier price.

Design

The look is all glass: a leaded-glass motif hand painted to resemble shattered blue and orange panes, an artistic and visually striking finish rather than a cluttered pattern. It's the work of community artist de puiseau, whose glass-focused design defines the whole skin, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "Lethal fragility."

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

On the finish's 0.00–0.70 float scale, Field-Tested sits in the middle. The skin picks up light scratching along the edges and high-contact spots, but the busy shard pattern absorbs it well, so most copies still read clearly at a glance and the fracture lines stay legible. This is the grade most players land on when balancing looks against cost.

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass Rarity

Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, ranked just beneath Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon grades. Pulling one from a case is genuinely uncommon.

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass Case and Collection

Part of The Spectrum 2 Collection, this finish is unboxed from the Spectrum 2 Case that arrived in September 2017. The Classified tier as a group drops around 3.2% of the time from the case (the figure is shared across the tier's skins), and because the Spectrum 2 Case is no longer in the active drop pool, supply stays fixed — buyers get most copies on the market instead of from a case.

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass Patterns

The painted glasswork carries no random roll: the blue-and-orange shards are placed the same on each copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ only by wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ version does exist and brings a confirmed-kill counter along; it's a scarcer, more expensive Spectrum 2 Case drop than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent — it carries over whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir version was never made, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and the Spectrum 2 Case has never been a Major drop.

M4A1-S | Leaded Glass Price

Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping nearly the same glass look, which is why it's such a common pick. As an affordable mid-tier M4A1-S finish, it's an easy loadout addition. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested copy look beat up?

Not really. Field-Tested adds light scratching around the edges and contact points, but the busy shattered-glass pattern hides it well, so the skin reads as intact to most eyes. The blue-and-orange shards keep their color, and the design's signature fracture detail still stands out clearly in-game.

Is Field-Tested the best value grade?

For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear but looks almost identical thanks to the wear-masking pattern, and it's easy to find on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go lower still if you want the cheapest entry and don't mind heavier scuffing across the glass.

Which gloves pair with Leaded Glass?

The cool blue-and-orange shard palette works with a blue or teal glove base and an orange-flecked accent pair to catch the warm fragments. Blue Specialist or Hydra gloves keep the glassy, artistic tone running through the whole loadout.
