M4A1-S | Stratosphere (Minimal Wear)

The M4A1-S | Stratosphere (Minimal Wear) is a Classified rifle skin showing spacefaring ships circling a planet over a sky-blue-to-stormy gradient. Minimal Wear keeps the artwork looking almost flawless while costing a touch less than the top grade.

Design

The look is pure outer space: ships orbit a planet across the silenced M4's body, with a bright sky-blue upper melting into a darker, stormy lower tone. A fitting flavor line rides along with it — "One day in the not too distant future..." — reinforcing the high-altitude, cosmic feel.

M4A1-S | Stratosphere (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

On the finish's 0.00–0.80 float scale, Minimal Wear sits just above Factory New. At this level the blue gradient stays richly saturated and the ships and planet remain easy to read, with only the faintest edge wear if any at all. For most buyers it's the value pick that still looks essentially pristine.

M4A1-S | Stratosphere Rarity

Rarity: Classified. That's the pink tier — one rung under Covert and second-highest among the standard weapon grades, which makes it a genuinely uncommon pull.

M4A1-S | Stratosphere Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Ascent Collection, introduced in the Spring Forward update back in March 2025. Across that pool the Classified tier drops around 3.2% of the time (a figure shared among the tier's skins), so with supply capped, the market is where most copies come from rather than fresh drops.

M4A1-S | Stratosphere Patterns

There's no random roll on this skin — the orbiting ships, the planet, and the sky-blue gradient are placed identically on every copy, meaning no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth hunting. The only real difference between copies is wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak edition exists: kill-counter variants are minted only for finishes that ship in a StatTrak-enabled weapon case, and this finish never did, so no counter version was ever made. A Souvenir version was never produced either — Souvenir weapons come solely from Major-tournament packages, and The Ascent Collection has never featured as a Major drop.

M4A1-S | Stratosphere Price

Minimal Wear is the sweet spot of the range — a bit cheaper than Factory New while keeping nearly the same look, which is why plenty of buyers stop here. As an affordable mid-tier M4A1-S finish overall, it's an easy pickup that won't stretch a budget. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How does Minimal Wear compare to Factory New?

Very closely. The blue gradient and the space scene look almost identical to the naked eye, with only trace edge wear separating the two grades. Factory New is the flawless option, but Minimal Wear delivers the same visual impact for less — the smarter choice for most loadouts.

Does the artwork stay legible at Minimal Wear?

Yes. The ships, the planet, and the sky-blue-to-stormy fade all read clearly at this grade, since the light surface wear is confined to the edges and doesn't touch the central scene. You get the full outer-space design without paying the top-grade premium.

What update introduced the Stratosphere?

It arrived with the Spring Forward update in March 2025 as part of The Ascent Collection. As a Classified-tier skin it's an uncommon pull, and because the collection's supply is finite, most copies now trade hands on the market rather than dropping fresh in game.
