Design
The finish keeps things bold and geometric: diagonal stripes of blue, red, and gold cutting across a black base, a digital, security-themed design that leans on banding rather than intricate art. It's a community creation from the artist Conne, and it ships with a tongue-in-cheek in-game line: "AVAILABLE NOW AT YOUR LOCAL CYBERNETICS RETAILER."

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the black base shows through where the bands have rubbed away. The blue, red, and gold survive enough to keep the skin readable, and because the finish caps at 0.98 rather than the full 1.0, it stops just shy of the absolute roughest end of the float scale. FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred version still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the diagonal blue, red, and gold bands keep the cyber design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price on the ladder, not losing the look entirely — the bands still carry the theme.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred version look completely destroyed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.98 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies stop just short of the most extreme wear. There's still plenty of scratching and paint loss, but the colored bands hold on well enough that the design stays identifiable rather than washing out completely.
Which gloves suit this skin?
The tricolor bands leave the loadout open. Blue gloves echo the dominant stripe, red wraps highlight the accent color, and plain dark gloves let the busy design stand on its own. Pick the glove color that matches whichever band you most want to draw the eye.
