M4A4 | Poly Mag (Minimal Wear)
The M4A4 | Poly Mag (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec rifle skin built around a clear polymer magazine and a tan stock, hand guard, and grip. Minimal Wear keeps that tan finish looking almost untouched while sitting a notch below the top grade in price.
Design
The finish pairs tan bodywork — stock, hand guard, and grip — with a transparent polymer magazine that shows the rounds behind it, a plain and utilitarian look rather than a busy graphic. The community artist emu created it, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "Standard operating procedure."
M4A4 | Poly Mag (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
At Minimal Wear the tan panels still read sharp, with only the faintest edge wear on the barrel and receiver corners if any shows at all. The see-through magazine and the warm tan tone hold up well here, so this grade lands close to Factory New for the eye while trimming the cost — a smart middle ground for the design.
M4A4 | Poly Mag Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade. That's the blue tier, the lowest of the grades that appear inside a weapon case — the most common band to unbox, which keeps supply high and prices low.
M4A4 | Poly Mag Case and Collection
This finish belongs to The Recoil Collection and comes out of the Recoil Case, released on July 1, 2022. Across the case the Mil-Spec tier pulls at about 79.92% (a figure shared among the tier's skins), which makes it one of the more frequent unboxes — and with plenty in circulation, players mostly buy copies on the market rather than opening for one.
M4A4 | Poly Mag Patterns
The tan panels and clear magazine sit the same way on every copy, so Poly Mag has no random pattern roll — no paint seed to chase and no "blue gem" variants to hunt. What sets copies apart is wear and float, nothing more.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak™ M4A4 | Poly Mag, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it drops more rarely and costs more than the plain skin, and its counter is permanent, staying with the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir version was ever made — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages, and the Recoil Case has never been a Major drop.
M4A4 | Poly Mag Price
Minimal Wear ranks second on the finish's price ladder, just under Factory New and above the field-worn grades. Because Poly Mag is a budget M4A4, this near-top condition is still very affordable — a small step up from Field-Tested for a noticeably tidier surface. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Minimal Wear worth it over Field-Tested?
It depends on your budget. Minimal Wear keeps the tan panels tidy and the transparent mag sharp, while Field-Tested shows visible scuffing for a little less. On a finish this cheap the price gap is small, so many buyers just take Minimal Wear for the neater surface rather than saving a few coins on Field-Tested.
Does the Minimal Wear Poly Mag look worn?
Hardly. Any wear at this grade is confined to the sharpest edges of the barrel and receiver, and it's easy to miss at a glance. The tan bodywork and clear magazine keep their look, so the skin comes across nearly as it does in Factory New.
Does the Poly Mag hold its value?
It's a budget Mil-Spec with high supply, so don't expect big gains — this is a skin to enjoy, not to invest in. Its price tends to track the wider market rather than climb on scarcity. The upside is a stable, low entry point, which makes it a low-risk pickup for a loadout.
