M4A4 | Radiation Hazard (Minimal Wear)

M4A4 | Radiation Hazard (Minimal Wear)

The M4A4 | Radiation Hazard (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec rifle skin decked in yellow-and-black radiological hazard striping over a dark base. Minimal Wear keeps the caution-tape look nearly pristine while sitting a step below the top grade in price.

Design

The design is pure industrial-warning language: radiological hazard symbols and yellow-on-black caution striping sprayed across a dark receiver. It's an in-house Valve finish that trades detailed graphics for loud, functional contrast, and that caution-tape motif is what gives the skin its identity.

M4A4 | Radiation Hazard (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

Minimal Wear puts the finish in the 0.07–0.15 range, one notch below the top grade. A few faint scuffs may appear on the edges, but the yellow-black striping stays vivid and the overall look holds close to factory condition — a smart middle ground for buyers who want strong visuals without paying for the very top grade.

M4A4 | Radiation Hazard Rarity

This is a Mil-Spec Grade skin, the blue tier that sits at the base of the standard weapon-grade ladder. As the most common grade, it's the opposite of a chase item — widely available and easy to pick up.

M4A4 | Radiation Hazard Case and Collection

Radiation Hazard is one of the skins in The Nuke Collection, introduced alongside the Arms Deal update in August 2013. Because the collection has no dedicated weapon case, standard copies are obtained through drops and trade-ups, and Souvenir versions came from Nuke Souvenir Packages given out at Majors. The blue Mil-Spec tier dominates those draws at roughly an 80% share.

M4A4 | Radiation Hazard Patterns

This finish has no pattern roll to speak of. The caution striping and radiological marks are placed identically on each unit, meaning no seed hunting or rare pattern tiers exist here — float and wear are the only variables between copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak edition was never made. Because StatTrak copies originate exclusively from weapon cases and this finish was never part of one, there's no counter variant to find. Souvenir copies are a different story: produced through Major-tournament packages, they exist thanks to the Nuke Souvenir Packages distributed starting with ESL One Cologne 2014.

M4A4 | Radiation Hazard Price

Minimal Wear ranks just below Factory New on the finish's price ladder — a slight discount for near-top condition. Across the M4A4 catalog Radiation Hazard is a premium pick, sitting well above the budget finishes. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How good does the Minimal Wear look?

Very close to factory. Sitting in the 0.07–0.15 float band, a Minimal Wear copy shows only faint edge scuffing at most, and the yellow-black hazard graphics stay bright and legible. For most buyers it's visually near-identical to Factory New while costing a little less.

Is Minimal Wear or Field-Tested the better buy?

It depends on budget. Minimal Wear keeps the finish looking near-pristine, but the loud pattern hides wear so effectively that Field-Tested reads almost as well for noticeably less. Choose Minimal Wear for near-top condition; go Field-Tested if you'd rather save and still get the look.

Is Radiation Hazard a rare skin?

Not in rarity terms. It's a Mil-Spec Grade finish — the blue tier and the most common of the standard weapon grades — so it's widely available. Its appeal comes from the bold warning-sign design and its place in The Nuke Collection, not from scarcity.
