M4A4 | Steel Work (Factory New)

M4A4 | Steel Work (Factory New)

The M4A4 | Steel Work (Factory New) is an Industrial Grade rifle skin — a worn brushed-steel body dressed up with red ribbons and a matching red grip and magazine. Factory New is the top grade this finish comes in, showing the steel texture at its sharpest for a small outlay.

Design

Steel Work builds on a worn steel base with deep industrial tones, then breaks up the metal with red ribbons and a color-matched red grip and magazine. It's a Valve-made finish that plays a raw, forged-metal look against those bright red accents, and it ships with the in-game line "It's on site!"

M4A4 | Steel Work (Factory New) Float and Wear

The finish runs from a float of 0.00, so Factory New is the highest grade available and about as defined as the brushed-steel texture ever reads. At this exterior the metal looks even, the industrial tones stay deep, and the red ribbons hold their color with no scratching across the body. For anyone who wants the finish looking its best, this is the grade to reach for — and it's still a cheap pickup.

M4A4 | Steel Work Rarity

Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue tier, the second rung from the bottom of the standard weapon grades, sitting just above Consumer Grade and below Mil-Spec. It's one of the most common grades in the game, which is a big part of why the skin stays cheap.

M4A4 | Steel Work Case and Collection

The M4A4 | Steel Work belongs to The Radiant Collection. It isn't tied to any weapon case, so you don't unbox it — copies come from in-game drops of the collection or from trade-up contracts that output into it. That makes supply steady rather than case-gated, and most players simply pick one up on the market.

M4A4 | Steel Work Patterns

Steel Work has no random paint-seed variation to chase — the steel texture and red ribbons print much the same way on every copy, so there's no "blue gem" or special-pattern lottery here. Wear and float are the only things that meaningfully tell one copy from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's no StatTrak version of this skin. A StatTrak finish is generated from a weapon case, and Steel Work isn't part of one, so the kill-counting variant was never made. A Souvenir version doesn't exist either — those come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Radiant Collection has never been a Major drop.

M4A4 | Steel Work Price

Factory New sits at the top of this finish's own price ladder as the highest grade available, a small step above Minimal Wear. Even so, the skin lands firmly in the budget end of the M4A4 lineup, so this is a pocket-change buy rather than any kind of investment. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Factory New worth it over Minimal Wear?

Only if you want the steel texture at its most defined. Factory New shows the sharpest metal and the deepest industrial tones, but the gap to Minimal Wear is subtle on such a rugged base, and the price difference is small either way. Plenty of buyers just grab whichever of the two grades is cheaper at the time.

Does the M4A4 | Steel Work pattern change between copies?

No. Unlike seed-based skins, the steel texture and red ribbons sit the same way on every copy, so there's nothing like a rare alignment or "blue gem" roll to hunt for. The only real differences between two examples come down to exterior wear and float, which is exactly what the grade you pick controls.

Which gloves go with the M4A4 | Steel Work?

Its steel-gray body with red accents suits an industrial red-and-metal loadout, so red, black, or gray gloves work best — a red pair picks up the ribbons and grip, while gray or black wraps lean into the raw-metal base. Neutral wraps with a red stripe tie the whole look together nicely.
