M4A4 | Turbine (Field-Tested)

M4A4 | Turbine (Field-Tested)

The M4A4 | Turbine (Field-Tested) is a Restricted rifle skin with a wine-colored base and a turbine-style mechanical motif, here in a lightly worn state. Field-Tested is the most common and recognizable way to own it, offering the look at a friendlier price.

Design

At its core Turbine is a wine-colored body dressed in a turbine and mechanical motif, a rugged, industrial design that trades busy graphics for machine-shop attitude. It began as a community submission from the artist Kai, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "WARNING: Prolonged firing may cause overheating."

M4A4 | Turbine (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

At Field-Tested the finish shows light scratching along the edges and around the receiver, but the deep wine base disguises it so well that most copies still look tidy from a normal distance. The turbine artwork holds up regardless of float, so this grade is the sweet spot most players picture when they think of the skin.

M4A4 | Turbine Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier. It ranks just beneath Classified and just above Mil-Spec among the standard weapon grades, making it a genuinely uncommon result to unbox from any case.

M4A4 | Turbine Case and Collection

The skin is part of The Gallery Collection and comes out of the Gallery Case, released together with the Armory update in October 2024. As a group the Restricted tier drops around 16% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), so most copies reach players either through opening the case or via the market.

M4A4 | Turbine Patterns

Because the wine base and turbine graphic sit the same way on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ from one another only by wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak™ M4A4 | Turbine, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and pricier than the standard drop, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Gallery Case has never featured as a Major drop.

M4A4 | Turbine Price

Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping nearly the same look, which is a big part of why it's the most traded version of the skin. As an affordable mid-tier M4A4 it won't stretch a budget, and it's quick to pick up securely on Skin.Land.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Turbine look beat up?

Not really. The wine base masks scratches unusually well, so a Field-Tested copy reads as tidy to most eyes, with only light edge wear under close inspection. The turbine motif isn't touched by float at all, so the skin's defining detail always stands out regardless of the grade you choose.

Is Field-Tested the best value Turbine?

For most buyers, yes. It costs less than Factory New and Minimal Wear but looks almost identical thanks to the wear-hiding base, and it's the most plentiful grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred come in cheaper if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier scuffing.

Does the M4A4 Turbine hold its value?

As an affordable mid-tier M4A4 from a recent case, it isn't a grail investment, but its industrial look and community-designed appeal give it steady demand. Prices on newer-case skins can move as supply settles, so treat it as a loadout piece you enjoy rather than a guaranteed money-maker.
