MAC-10 | Lapis Gator (Field-Tested)
The MAC-10 | Lapis Gator (Field-Tested) brings the same vibrant blue alligator-skin hydrographic to a Mil-Spec SMG finish. Field-Tested is the middle grade, balancing a solid look with a lower price than the top two conditions.
Design
The whole body is covered in a blue hydrographic dip styled after alligator hide — a reptilian design credited to community artist Sun_R. It ships with a lighthearted flavor line: "Airboat not included."
MAC-10 | Lapis Gator (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested falls near the middle of the finish's 0.00–0.50 float range. The scale texture starts to show light dulling at this grade, though the bright blue base still reads clearly from normal in-game distance.
MAC-10 | Lapis Gator Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, and statistically the most frequently pulled rarity among standard weapon skins.
MAC-10 | Lapis Gator Case and Collection
This skin is drawn from The Wildfire Collection via the Operation Wildfire Case, which arrived with Operation Wildfire back in February 2016. Mil-Spec pulls make up close to 80% of that case's opens, keeping supply of this finish consistently high from the start.
MAC-10 | Lapis Gator Patterns
There's no random pattern element here — the hydrographic texture is identical from copy to copy, meaning no paint seed or "blue gem" chase applies to this finish. Condition and float are what actually vary.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ edition tracks confirmed kills permanently and comes from the same Operation Wildfire Case as the regular version. Souvenir doesn't apply here — that tag is reserved for Major-tournament packages, and Lapis Gator has never featured in one.
MAC-10 | Lapis Gator Price
Field-Tested sits in the middle of the price ladder, a noticeable step down from the top two grades while the alligator texture still holds up well visually. It's a strong value pick within an already affordable mid-tier finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does Field-Tested Lapis Gator look worn?
Only slightly — some light dulling appears on the scale texture, but the bright blue coloring keeps the design legible and appealing at normal viewing range, making it a popular pick for budget-minded buyers.
Is Field-Tested the best value grade?
For most buyers, yes. It costs less than Minimal Wear and Factory New while retaining most of the visual appeal, striking a good balance for a finish that's already priced affordably across the board.
Why is Mil-Spec supply so high for this skin?
Mil-Spec is the most common rarity tier by design, and it accounted for roughly 80% of pulls from the Operation Wildfire Case, so Lapis Gator has always been widely available on the market.
