MAC-10 | Tatter (Well-Worn)
Well-Worn puts the MAC-10 | Tatter's red, flame-styled finish into a rougher-looking state while keeping the price low. It's a budget-leaning way to run this Restricted SMG skin without chasing top condition.
Design
The pattern comes from community artists irecon and Klint, who leaned on a red base wrapped in a high-tech, flame-reminiscent paint job rather than a straightforward image. It's an intentionally loud, abstract look built to stand out in a match.
MAC-10 | Tatter (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Well-Worn sits toward the upper end of Tatter's 0.00–0.50 float range, showing visible scuffing and thinning paint across the body while the red flame pattern still comes through legibly. Since this finish is capped at a 0.50 float rather than the usual 1.0 maximum, even this grade avoids the extreme battering seen on full-range weapon skins.
MAC-10 | Tatter Rarity
Tatter carries a Restricted rarity, the purple grade positioned below Classified and two tiers under Covert. It's an uncommon case pull, not one of the more frequent Huntsman Weapon Case results.
MAC-10 | Tatter Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Huntsman Collection, tied to the Huntsman Weapon Case that debuted with The Hunt Begins update in May 2014. Restricted-tier pulls from that case run around 15.98% as a group rate, and because the case has since left active circulation, buyers now mostly source Tatter through the market.
MAC-10 | Tatter Patterns
Because the flame artwork is fixed across every copy, the paint seed makes no difference to how a Tatter looks — there's no rare pattern or "blue gem" version to search for. Only wear level and float separate individual pieces.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak edition sits alongside the regular MAC-10 | Tatter, adding a kill counter that stays permanently attached through trades and sales. No Souvenir copies exist, as Souvenir weapons are limited to Major-tournament packages and this finish was never part of one.
MAC-10 | Tatter Price
Well-Worn lands near the bottom of the Tatter price ladder, ahead of only Battle-Scarred, giving budget-focused buyers a cheaper route to the flame design. It's a solid pick for anyone prioritizing cost over surface condition. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Well-Worn a big step down from Field-Tested?
Visually, yes, there's more visible scuffing and paint loss, but the flame pattern is still easy to identify at this grade. Price-wise it's a further discount over Field-Tested, so it appeals mainly to buyers who want the design as cheaply as possible without going all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Does the 0.50 float cap affect how rough Well-Worn looks?
Yes — since Tatter never reaches a full 1.0 float, its Well-Worn copies look milder than Well-Worn on a standard weapon skin. There's clear wear here, but it stops short of the extreme scuffing you'd see on an uncapped finish at this same grade.
Who should buy Well-Worn instead of Minimal Wear?
Anyone who wants the red flame look on a tighter budget and doesn't mind visible surface wear. If a clean presentation matters more than price, Minimal Wear or Factory New is the better call, but Well-Worn gets the design into a loadout for noticeably less.
