irecon and Klint designed the finish with a fiery red base under a high-tech pattern meant to evoke flames without drawing an explicit image. The overall effect is bold and abstract, built to catch the eye in a loadout.

Battle-Scarred sits at the top of Tatter's float range, which runs from 0.00 to 0.50, so this is the roughest-looking grade the finish offers, with clear scuffing and paint loss across the body. Because that range tops out at 0.50 instead of the usual 1.0 ceiling, even this worst grade stays milder than Battle-Scarred on a full-range weapon skin, and the red flame pattern remains legible rather than lost.
