MAC-10 | Gold Brick (Well-Worn)
The MAC-10 | Gold Brick (Well-Worn) carries the same shimmering gold coat into a more battered state, giving budget-minded buyers a cheaper way to own the design. It's a clear step down in condition from Field-Tested but still unmistakably a Gold Brick.
Design
The finish centers on a gold coating built to shimmer and show the metal's texture underneath, a look Valve leaned into rather than smoothing away. It carries the fitting flavor line "All that glitters..." regardless of how worn a copy gets.
MAC-10 | Gold Brick (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Well-Worn sits toward the upper end of the skin's 0–0.70 float range, and at this level the gold shows real scuffing, dulled patches, and grime buildup across the body. The overall shimmer effect is noticeably weaker than on Field-Tested, though the gold tone still comes through.
MAC-10 | Gold Brick Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple grade, a genuinely uncommon rarity even though this particular copy shows heavier wear.
MAC-10 | Gold Brick Case and Collection
Part of The Ancient Collection from Operation Broken Fang in December 2020, the Gold Brick has no weapon case tied to it — supply comes through collection drops and trade-up contracts. Restricted skins make up about 15.98% of that collection's drop pool overall.
MAC-10 | Gold Brick Patterns
Every copy shares the identical fixed gold artwork regardless of paint seed, so there's no rare pattern or "blue gem" version to look for here. Wear grade and float remain the only distinguishing factors.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak variant of the Gold Brick exists. A Souvenir edition does, first appearing in the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package with further Major packages following at later tournaments. The regular finish covered here is separate from those Souvenir copies.
MAC-10 | Gold Brick Price
Well-Worn ranks near the bottom of the price ladder, ahead of only Battle-Scarred, making it one of the cheaper ways to own the design even within a grail-tier finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does the Well-Worn Gold Brick look?
Fairly rough — expect visible scuffing, dulled patches, and dirt buildup across the gold surface. It's a clear notch below Field-Tested, though the gold coloring is still easy to identify in-game.
Is Well-Worn a smart buy over Battle-Scarred?
It usually looks a bit cleaner for only a modest price bump, so many buyers see it as the better balance if Field-Tested still feels too expensive. Battle-Scarred remains the cheapest option if minimizing cost is the only priority.
Does the Well-Worn grade affect the Souvenir version too?
Wear grades apply the same way to both the regular and Souvenir Gold Brick — a Souvenir copy can come in Well-Worn condition too, priced separately from this regular finish based on its own collector demand.
