MAC-10 | Oceanic (Battle-Scarred)
The MAC-10 | Oceanic (Battle-Scarred, BS) shows its black-and-blue design in the roughest state this finish reaches. It's the cheapest way into this Mil-Spec Spectrum 2 finish.
Design
Oceanic combines a black base coat with blue accent designs for a cool, uncluttered look. It's a community design by Hollandje, carrying the flavor text "The shapeless void."
MAC-10 | Oceanic (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Oceanic caps out at a 0.60 float, so Battle-Scarred shows heavier scuffing and fading on the black base and blue accents without ever reaching the most extreme wear a full-range skin would hit. The design stays visible, just noticeably rougher, and the float cap keeps this bottom grade a bit milder than it could otherwise be.
MAC-10 | Oceanic Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the entry-level blue tier and the most commonly dropped rarity for weapon finishes.
MAC-10 | Oceanic Case and Collection
This finish comes from the Spectrum 2 Case, released as part of The Spectrum 2 Collection in September 2017. Mil-Spec skins make up roughly 79.92% of that case's drops, which keeps supply abundant and prices low across all five wear grades.
MAC-10 | Oceanic Patterns
The blue-and-black design is fixed on every copy — there's no paint-seed roll, so no pattern or "blue gem" hunt applies here. Wear and float are the only things that change from one Oceanic to another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can find this finish as either a regular or a StatTrak weapon, the latter permanently tracking confirmed kills as it moves between owners. No Souvenir version exists, since Souvenir weapons only ever come from Major-tournament packages, and this finish wasn't part of one.
MAC-10 | Oceanic Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest way to own this finish, sitting at the bottom of an already-budget price ladder. It's the pick for anyone who just wants the blue-and-black look on their MAC-10 for as little as possible. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Battle-Scarred still recognizable as Oceanic?
Yes. Even with heavy scuffing and fading, the blue accents stay visible against the black base. You're trading polish for the lowest possible price, not losing the design entirely.
Does Battle-Scarred ever look fully ruined on this skin?
Not quite — Oceanic is float-capped at 0.60, so it never reaches the most extreme wear a full-range skin would show. Expect the heaviest wear the finish offers, but the design stays legible in-game.
What's the cheapest way to get the MAC-10 | Oceanic?
Battle-Scarred is the lowest grade on the price ladder, and since this is already a budget Mil-Spec finish, it's about as inexpensive as a weapon skin gets. It's a low-risk way to try the design out.
