MAC-10 | Neon Rider (Well-Worn)
The MAC-10 | Neon Rider (Well-Worn) shows its cyan-and-pink biker artwork in the roughest state this finish reaches. It's the cheapest way into a Covert-rarity MAC-10 finish that never gets too battered.
Design
The finish paints a biker figure in bright cyan and pink neon across a black base, a striking, cyberpunk-flavored design rather than anything muted. It was created by community artists Puffin and Helenek, with the flavor line "One part firearm, two parts Trapper Keeper" attached.
MAC-10 | Neon Rider (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Neon Rider's float caps out at 0.45, so Well-Worn is both the roughest and the most worn grade this finish reaches — there's no Battle-Scarred copy at all. Because the skin never climbs toward a full 1.0 float, even this bottom grade avoids the heaviest scuffing seen on uncapped finishes, though scratching and fading are clearly visible across the black base and biker artwork.
MAC-10 | Neon Rider Rarity
Rarity: Covert, the red tier — still the highest standard rarity a weapon finish can carry, regardless of wear grade.
MAC-10 | Neon Rider Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Chroma 2 Collection, unboxed from the Chroma 2 Case released with the April 2015 update. As a Covert drop, its odds sit well under 1% of that case's pulls, and with the case long retired, the market is where nearly all supply now comes from.
MAC-10 | Neon Rider Patterns
There's no random pattern roll here — the neon biker design lands identically on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" exists to look for. Wear and float remain the only things that differ between copies.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak version of this finish exists alongside the regular one, tracking confirmed kills permanently once it starts counting. No Souvenir edition has ever been made, since Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages and Neon Rider hasn't appeared in one.
MAC-10 | Neon Rider Price
Well-Worn is the cheapest grade on the Neon Rider ladder, though the Covert rarity here still keeps it a pricier finish than most weapon skins. It's the most accessible way in for buyers who want this rare design without top-grade money. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Well-Worn the roughest Neon Rider gets?
Yes. The finish caps at a 0.45 float, so there's no Battle-Scarred version, and Well-Worn is the most used grade available. It shows clear scuffing and fading but never reaches the extreme wear a full-range skin would hit.
Why does Well-Worn still cost this much?
Even at the bottom of the ladder, this is a Covert-rarity finish from a retired case, so scarcity keeps prices elevated compared to most weapon skins. It's the cheapest Neon Rider grade, not a cheap skin overall.
Is buying Well-Worn a smart way to save money?
If budget matters most, yes — it's noticeably cheaper than Field-Tested while keeping the biker artwork fully recognizable. Since the float cap limits how rough the skin ever looks, you're not sacrificing much visual quality for the savings.
