MAG-7 | Heat (Well-Worn)

MAG-7 | Heat (Well-Worn)

The MAG-7 | Heat (Well-Worn) is a Restricted shotgun skin with a molten orange, forge-fresh finish, shown here in a more weathered state. It's a cheaper way into a premium design, with wear that dulls but doesn't erase the fiery look.

Design

Heat wraps the MAG-7 in warm orange gradients meant to look like metal straight out of the forge, glowing over the darkened body. The community artist joop designed it, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "Make some outlines of your own."

MAG-7 | Heat (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Sitting high in the full 0.00–1.00 float range, Well-Worn shows clear scuffing and paint thinning across the body and edges, where the forged glow starts to break up. The orange gradient still anchors the look, but there's no hiding the wear here. For players who value price over a flawless surface, it delivers the fiery design for less.

MAG-7 | Heat Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier — a rung above Mil-Spec among the standard grades. It's a less common pull than the blue-tier skins in its case, which keeps prices elevated across all wears.

MAG-7 | Heat Case and Collection

Sitting in The Chroma 2 Collection, this MAG-7 is unboxed from the Chroma 2 Case that released in April 2015. As a group the Restricted tier drops about 15.98% of the time (an odds figure shared across the tier's skins), so it's a scarcer find than the common grades in the same case.

MAG-7 | Heat Patterns

No random pattern variation applies to this finish — the artwork is fixed, meaning the orange forge gradient repeats identically from copy to copy. There's no paint seed or blue-gem edition to track down, so wear and float are the only variables in play.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ MAG-7 | Heat is out there too, adding a confirmed-kill counter and originating from the Chroma 2 Case; it's scarcer and pricier than the plain skin, and the counter is permanent — it never gets wiped through trades or sales. There's no Souvenir version, as Souvenir weapons are minted only in Major-tournament packages and this finish was never part of one.

MAG-7 | Heat Price

Well-Worn sits near the bottom of this finish's ladder, below Field-Tested — a budget route into a premium design for players who won't pay the higher-grade premium. It's among the cheaper ways to get the forge look. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How heavy is the wear on a Well-Worn Heat?

Noticeable. Expect clear scratches and paint thinning across the body and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's roughest state. The molten orange gradient keeps the finish recognizable, so it still reads as Heat in-game despite the visible weathering on the metal.

Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?

Only if price is your priority. Field-Tested looks a good deal tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Heat design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred's heavier wear.

Does the Heat finish come with a Souvenir version?

No. Souvenir weapons are handed out only through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish was never included in one. Heat exists as a regular skin and a StatTrak variant, both from the Chroma 2 Case, but there's no Souvenir edition to look for on the market.
