MAG-7 | Counter Terrace (Minimal Wear)
The MAG-7 | Counter Terrace (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin with a bright geometric hydrographic pattern. Minimal Wear keeps that angular design nearly spotless while sitting a step below Factory New on price.
Design
The finish is a geometric hydrographic — interlocking angular shapes in vivid colors wrapped over the body, a loud, energetic treatment rather than a single motif. Valve made it, and it ships with a playful in-game note: "Hey Sabri, you should take this one... it's loud like you - Carmen Cocinero, Extraction Expert."
MAG-7 | Counter Terrace (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Minimal Wear falls just above Factory New within the capped 0.00–0.65 range, so the geometric shapes stay bright with only faint edge wear turning up on close inspection. At normal range most copies still look untouched, and the colors hold their punch. It's a strong middle ground for near-mint looks at a lower price than the sought-after top grade.
MAG-7 | Counter Terrace Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier. It's the base rung of the standard weapon grades, but this finish is a stand-out within its class — one of the MAG-7's most collected skins, which lifts its price far above the usual Mil-Spec range.
MAG-7 | Counter Terrace Case and Collection
The finish comes from The Rising Sun Collection, introduced on May 26, 2015 with Operation Bloodhound. Mil-Spec is the tier that appears about 79.92% of the time (an odds figure shared among the tier's skins), but strong demand for this particular finish keeps regular copies thin and expensive on the market.
MAG-7 | Counter Terrace Patterns
Every copy is identical in layout — the artwork is fixed, and the paint seed has no say in how the geometric pattern wraps the gun. That rules out any blue-gem seed or standout pattern to hunt, leaving wear and float as the only meaningful differences between copies.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak edition was never produced, since StatTrak comes only from weapon cases and this skin descends from a case-less collection. No Souvenir version exists either — those are minted solely through Major-tournament packages, and The Rising Sun Collection has never been part of a Major.
MAG-7 | Counter Terrace Price
Minimal Wear sits one rung down from Factory New, keeping almost the same look for a little less — but as a grail-tier MAG-7 finish, even this grade carries a hefty price by shotgun-skin standards. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How different does Minimal Wear look from Factory New?
Barely different to the eye. Minimal Wear adds only faint edge wear that's hard to spot without close zoom, so the geometric pattern still reads bright and busy. Since it usually costs less than the highly prized Factory New, it's often the smarter buy for players who want the look without the top-grade premium.
Is Counter Terrace really worth grail-tier money?
That depends on how much you value the design. It's a common Mil-Spec skin by rarity, but its loud geometric pattern made it a collector favorite, and thin supply from an old collection drives the price up. If you want one of the standout MAG-7 finishes, the demand is real — but you're paying for popularity, not rarity.
Does StatTrak exist for this skin?
No. StatTrak versions are minted only by weapon cases, and Counter Terrace comes from The Rising Sun Collection, which has no StatTrak case tied to it. Only the regular version exists — there's no kill-tracking edition and no Souvenir one, since the collection has never appeared at a Major tournament.
