MAG-7 | Irradiated Alert (Field-Tested)
The MAG-7 | Irradiated Alert (Field-Tested) is a Consumer Grade shotgun skin with radiological warning hazard markings over a dark industrial base, here with a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common, most affordable way to run the caution-sign design.
Design
At its core the finish is a spray-painted set of radiological warning hazard patterns across the MAG-7 — an industrial, utilitarian motif with no decorative frills. It's Valve's own design, built entirely around the stark nuclear-warning look.
MAG-7 | Irradiated Alert (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested lands in the middle of the 0.06–0.80 float range, so light scratching shows along the edges and contact points. The rugged, industrial base takes it well and the warning markings stay legible, so the shotgun reads fine at playing distance. This is the grade most buyers settle on for the price.
MAG-7 | Irradiated Alert Rarity
Rarity: Consumer Grade — the white tier, the most basic of the weapon grades. Its abundance is the reason Field-Tested copies are just about the cheapest skins you can buy.
MAG-7 | Irradiated Alert Case and Collection
This finish is drawn from The Nuke Collection, which launched with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. There was no weapon case involved — the collection's skins dropped through normal gameplay — so regular copies come from that drop pool rather than from unboxing.
MAG-7 | Irradiated Alert Patterns
Because the design is fixed, the paint-seed index does nothing here — the radiological warning markings are placed the same on every single copy. There's no blue-gem seed to seek out, so wear and float are all that distinguish one Field-Tested unit from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's no StatTrak version of Irradiated Alert; that variant is minted only from weapon cases, and this finish reached players through a collection instead. It does, however, exist as a Souvenir edition — those copies come from Major-tournament packages, starting with the ESL One Cologne 2014 Nuke Souvenir Package and continuing through later Majors.
MAG-7 | Irradiated Alert Price
Field-Tested is the value anchor of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping most of the look, which is why it's the grade most players pick up. As a Consumer Grade finish, even this is rock-bottom pricing for a MAG-7. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Field-Tested Irradiated Alert look?
Mildly. Expect light scratching along the edges and contact points, but the industrial base hides it well and the warning markings stay clear. At in-game distance it reads fine, which makes Field-Tested the sensible balance of appearance and cost for this budget shotgun finish.
Why is there no StatTrak Irradiated Alert?
Because StatTrak weapons are minted only inside weapon cases, and this finish never appeared in one — it came from The Nuke Collection's drop pool instead. So no StatTrak copies were ever produced. The finish does exist as a Souvenir version, but that's a separate Major-package variant, not a kill-tracking one.
Is Field-Tested the best value Irradiated Alert?
For most buyers, yes. It's the cheapest of the common grades and looks close to the higher wears at playing distance, since the industrial base masks light scuffing. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred cost even less if you want the absolute lowest price and don't mind heavier wear.
