MAG-7 | Insomnia (Minimal Wear)
The MAG-7 | Insomnia (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin with a surreal orange-and-black scene of fish swimming into a person's mouth. Minimal Wear is a near-top grade that keeps the artwork vivid while sitting a step below the Factory New price.
Design
The styling is pure fever dream: fish flowing into an open mouth in orange and black, spread across the MAG-7. Community artists chipAs and Hoshi created it, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "Gulp, gulp, gulp."
MAG-7 | Insomnia (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Across the finish's full 0.00–1.00 float range, Minimal Wear covers the low band just above Factory New. The orange tones stay vivid and the black linework holds its edge, with only the faintest wear on close inspection. It's the value grade for players who want a near-flawless look without the top-grade cost.
MAG-7 | Insomnia Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier. It's the most common of the standard colored grades, which is exactly why this shotgun stays cheap and easy to source at every wear.
MAG-7 | Insomnia Case and Collection
Part of The Revolution Collection, this MAG-7 comes out of the Revolution Case that launched in February 2023. Across the case the Mil-Spec tier pulls at roughly 79.92% (an odds figure shared among the tier's skins), so there's no scarcity pushing the price up.
MAG-7 | Insomnia Patterns
There's no random pattern roll here — the artwork is fixed, so the fish-and-mouth scene sits identically on every unit. No paint seed or blue-gem variant is worth hunting; the only real differences between copies come down to wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also find a StatTrak™ MAG-7 | Insomnia, which brings a confirmed-kill counter and drops from the Revolution Case; it's rarer and costs more, and the counter is permanent — it never gets wiped through trades or sales. No Souvenir edition was made, because Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages and this finish never appeared in one.
MAG-7 | Insomnia Price
Minimal Wear sits just below Factory New on the ladder, a small saving for a look very close to the top grade — a smart middle option in an already budget-friendly lineup. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does Minimal Wear look much different from Factory New?
Barely. The orange tones and black linework hold up well, so a Minimal Wear copy reads almost identical to Factory New at a glance, with only faint edge wear up close. For most players it's the smarter buy — near-top clarity on the artwork for a lower price.
Is Insomnia a rare skin?
No. It's a Mil-Spec Grade finish, the blue tier and the most common colored grade to pull from the Revolution Case. That abundance is a plus for buyers — it keeps every wear cheap and easy to find on the market.
Does the paint seed matter on Insomnia?
Not at all. The design is fixed, so the seed index never changes how the shotgun looks — every copy carries the fish-and-mouth scene the same way. There's no premium pattern to chase, which makes buying purely a question of wear and price.
