MAG-7 | Copper Oxide (Field-Tested)

The MAG-7 | Copper Oxide (Field-Tested, FT) is a Consumer Grade shotgun skin split between solid blue and rose-gold blocks. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it — a little honest wear on a flat-color finish, for pocket change.

Design

At its heart the finish is two solid tones — cool blue beside warm rose gold — applied flat with no decals or graphics. It's a Valve-made skin, and it comes with an open-ended in-game line from its author: "I'm trying something different here, tell me what you think - Yukako, Gunsmith."

MAG-7 | Copper Oxide (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Field-Tested lands in the middle of the capped 0.00–0.65 range, where light scratching begins to nick the edges and raised parts of the color blocks. Because the two tones are flat and bold, the wear reads as scattered specks rather than a faded surface, so the split still shows clearly. This is the grade most buyers end up with.

MAG-7 | Copper Oxide Rarity

Rarity: Consumer Grade — the white class at the base of the standard weapon grades. As the game's most common tier, it makes this an easy, cheap finish to get hold of.

MAG-7 | Copper Oxide Case and Collection

This skin is part of The Boreal Collection, which arrived on March 31, 2025 in the Spring Forward update. It belongs to the collection's Consumer Grade tier — the most frequently seen one — so regular copies are common and the market is where nearly all of them are bought.

MAG-7 | Copper Oxide Patterns

There's no random roll on this finish: the blue and rose-gold blocks are a fixed design that lands identically on every copy, so no paint seed or blue-gem variant exists to chase. Wear and float are the only things separating one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

Because StatTrak is created only through weapon cases and this finish comes from a case-less collection, no StatTrak edition was ever made. There's no Souvenir version either — Souvenir weapons appear only in Major-tournament packages, and The Boreal Collection has never been offered at a Major.

MAG-7 | Copper Oxide Price

Field-Tested is the value center of the range, cheaper than the top grades while keeping the two-tone split easy to read — and on a budget finish, it costs next to nothing. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Copper Oxide look worn?

Only lightly. You'll see small scratches on the edges and raised parts, but the flat, bold color blocks keep the blue and rose-gold split clearly visible at normal range. For most players it's the practical choice — barely more worn than the higher grades, yet cheaper on an already inexpensive skin.

Is Field-Tested the best value grade?

On a budget skin like this, the grade differences in price are small, but Field-Tested is the most abundant and cheapest widely available option that still looks tidy. Well-Worn (WW) and Battle-Scarred (BS) shave off a little more if you truly want the rock-bottom price and don't mind extra scuffing.

What colors is the Copper Oxide?

Valve's own description lists it as blue and rose-gold solid colors, so the finish is a two-tone split of a cool blue against a warm pinkish gold. There's no additional pattern or graphic layered on top — just the two flat tones, which is what gives the skin its clean, modern look.
