The MP5-SD | Acid Wash (Battle-Scarred) is this Mil-Spec SMG's brass-and-blue finish at its most heavily used, and its cheapest way onto the market. The street-art design still comes through despite the damage.
Design
Community artist SLIMEface built the finish around brass hardware set against a blue, street-art-inspired body, a break from the SMG's typical military palette. It ships with the line "Black and blue and brass all over," a fitting summary of the color scheme.
MP5-SD | Acid Wash (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Because this finish caps out at 0.68 float rather than the full 1.0, Battle-Scarred here is milder than a full-range Battle-Scarred skin — heavy scuffing and paint loss are visible across the body, but it never reaches the most extreme wear the game can produce. The brass hardware keeps the silhouette legible even at this grade.

Yes. Even with heavy scuffing across the body, the brass hardware and blue base keep the street-art design readable in-game. It's the trade-off of accepting more wear for the lowest price on the finish.
Why doesn't this Battle-Scarred copy look fully destroyed?
The finish's float is capped at 0.68 instead of the usual 1.0 maximum, so Battle-Scarred copies never reach the game's most extreme wear level. That keeps the design more intact here than on skins with a full float range.
Is Battle-Scarred worth buying over Well-Worn?
