Design

SA_22's patchwork design defines the look here — twenty years of MP5 paint jobs pieced together and held in place by duct tape, zip ties, and glue, an intentionally scrappy, improvised aesthetic. The "If at first (and second and third) you don't succeed…" flavor text underlines that theme even further.

MP5-SD | Kitbash (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Float on this finish runs from 0.00 up to a capped 0.80 rather than the full 1.00, and Well-Worn sits toward the top of that range. Because of the cap, this grade never reaches the most extreme wear a skin can show — expect noticeable scratching and dulled panel edges, but not a completely trashed surface.

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, ranked above Mil-Spec Grade and below Classified and Covert. It stays a genuinely uncommon grade regardless of wear.

Does Well-Worn still show the patchwork clearly?

Yes — despite visible scratching, the mismatched panels remain identifiable at normal viewing distance. It's noticeably rougher than Field-Tested, but it doesn't lose the scrappy character that defines the Kitbash.

Kitbash's float is capped at 0.80 rather than reaching the full 1.00, so even its more worn grades never hit the most extreme scuffing that uncapped finishes can show.
