MP5-SD | Phosphor (Battle-Scarred)
The MP5-SD | Phosphor (Battle-Scarred) puts the neon pink, green, and teal drip design over a dark base in its roughest available state. It's the cheapest way to own this grail-tier finish for buyers focused on the design over the surface.
Design
Neon pink, green, and teal paint drips down a dark base to form Phosphor's signature high-contrast look, credited to community designer SA_22. Its flavor line, "Stand out from the crowd," sums up the finish's bold visual identity.
MP5-SD | Phosphor (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Phosphor's float is capped at 0.80, so Battle-Scarred here doesn't reach the fully extreme wear a 1.0-float skin can hit. Still, expect heavy scratching and noticeable paint loss on the dark base at this grade, with the neon drips remaining the clearest surviving element of the design.
MP5-SD | Phosphor Rarity
This finish carries Classified rarity, the pink tier one step below Covert — a genuinely uncommon grade regardless of which exterior you're shopping for.
MP5-SD | Phosphor Case and Collection
Phosphor belongs to The Danger Zone Collection and drops from the Danger Zone Case, released with the December 2018 Danger Zone update. Classified-tier finishes pull from that case at roughly 3.2%, a rate that's shared across the tier rather than specific to this finish.
MP5-SD | Phosphor Patterns
The drip pattern is identical across every copy of Phosphor, so there's no paint-seed hunt or blue-gem version to find. Wear grade and float alone account for the differences between copies.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Phosphor is available as a regular finish and as StatTrak, the latter tracking confirmed kills with a counter that's permanent through trades and sales. No Souvenir edition exists, as that requires a Major-tournament package and the Danger Zone Collection has never been used for one.
MP5-SD | Phosphor Price
Battle-Scarred is the most affordable grade of Phosphor, giving budget-focused buyers access to an otherwise grail-tier MP5-SD finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Battle-Scarred Phosphor still worth buying?
If price is the priority, yes — the neon drips still stand out clearly against the worn dark base, and the float cap keeps the damage from reaching the most extreme levels possible. It's a solid budget entry point into a design that's otherwise pricey.
Why doesn't Battle-Scarred Phosphor look completely destroyed?
Because the finish's float never goes above 0.80, so even the worst copies stop short of the full 1.0 extreme. Combined with the neon drips holding up as a visual anchor, the design stays readable even here.
Can Battle-Scarred be StatTrak too?
Yes — StatTrak Phosphor spans every wear grade including Battle-Scarred. It adds a permanent confirmed-kill counter and costs more than the same wear grade without it, thanks to its lower drop rate from the case.
